Spotlessly clean, well designed, comfortable, well located apartment in a small sized hotel. Breakfast was tasty and delivered to your room each morning. Plenty of secure parking. Short pleasant walk into Methoni. The lovely pool and tastefully furnished terrace area was a real plus point. Great terrace balcony overlooking pool with dining table & chairs plus 2 sun beds. Highly recommend!

I wish all tourism professionals were at Marios' level. Our world would be a better place to exist. The location of Afentiko Pigadi is like taken out from a Homeric poem, in a wonderful hill full of vegetation, a well groomed garden, a rare serenity in our 'click-like-share' world that makes you forget about the burdens of your life and live, even for just a little while, like a creature from ancient times. The rooms are modern, yet with a local feeling, they make you feel happy and delightful. I didn't want to get out of the room. The terrace attached to our room was the most perfect location to start our day in the morning drinking coffee and watching the olive trees in a perfect temperature, and close our day in the night listening to nature sounds, enjoying the summer coolness of the night having the moon right above. The pool is also amazing, so many sitting arrangements to choose from, all so carefully taken care of. Every little detail had been taken into consideration. The housekeeping ladies were so sincerely well intended. It is not only that the place was super clean and tidy, it was that the ladies were doing it with love and it was shown. Honest enterprises with integrity, quality and love for what they offer are extremely rare at our era and Afentiko Pigadi is one of the few exemptions that there might still be hope. I felt humanised at this place, after a long time. Hopefully I will come back soon since that part of Peloponnese was full of hidden treasures. Thank you for our stay. It was the highlight of our vacation and the most profound memory.

The best equipped & furnished property we have stayed at for many years. The house is perfect in every way. Aggeliki has furnished it to the very highest standards. Fantastic comfortable bed, linen & pillows. Modern bathroom with excellent washing machine which we appreciated. The kitchen had everything you could ever want or need, brand new & sparkling. Outside is a continuation of the style seen inside, beautiful dining furniture, clever sunscreens & a lovely small garden leading to another tiled & walled garden seating area, all tastefully done. Air conditioning in bedroom & living/ dining area. Thank you for a great stress free stay.

Excellent, couldn't fault it in any way. The owner regularly asked us if we needed anything and was available most of the time. Great location really close to the beach and restaurants but no issues with noise while we were there. Private secure parking.

Majestic with a castle and the crystal blue waters as a backdrop. Methoni is for everyone - it has history, beach, shopping, friendly and welcoming people and amazing food. I highly recommend making a reservation at Castro (a reservation because you will not get a table unless you do) for a delightful cuisine and spectacular view at sunset. You will not regret it. I also recommend the Rex right by the beach. Excellent food. Enjoy!

We really enjoyed Methoni.

We really enjoyed Methoni. Wandering around the historic town, exploring the castle, walking the surrounding countryside and ending up at Surreal for coffee or Thalassa for a meal. Our holiday was pure relaxation. If you want to explore further a car is probably necessary as the bus service is minimal.

If you are seeking a quieter holiday it is ideal, although I can only comment on our October holiday when it was not so busy. It is a lovely town with many small streets to explore and friendly people, with the superb castle as its focal point. It is well served with Tavernas/Restaurants and facilities for boat trips including fishing.

Methoni is a nice town in the furthest Peloponnese.

Methoni is a nice town in the furthest Peloponnese. It has a real island vibe, more like Crete than the rest of the Peloponnese. Mass tourism has not yet really beaten it down. Pylos is more touristic, but Methoni is just a little further down the road.

The water and beach views were beautiful.

The water and beach views were beautiful. The walk through the castle was amazing! It would have been nice to have a map describing the structures within the castle. The rocky cliffs and water were spectacular. We enjoyed out visit to Methoni and recommend it.

This was a perfect setting with views across the bay. A short walk to the beach for a swim and a little longer to take you into town for dinner or lunch. The big Methoni's Castle occupies the whole point. Great to explore. This cosy two-bedroom two-storey place was absolutely perfect for our needs. The place was super clean, the beds were comfortable, and everything we needed was provided. We made our own breakfast and sat on the gorgeous balcony.

Everything about the hotel was very good. The collection from the airport and the reception at the hotel were very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, and having decided to have breakfast each day the selection of food was impressive. The room was cleaned each day with fresh towels every third day and the whole hotel was very clean. The best accommodation we have had over many years visiting Greece.

Stunning property set in its own olive grove with a spectacular view of Methoni. Well equipped with everything you could need. Tranquil spot - you could spend hours sitting on the balcony looking at the view. Plenty of secure space for our dog to run around and explore and different seating areas in garden including hammocks and picnic tables to suit different moods. Excellent and helpful host. So great we will be back!

The Hotel is directly at the beach, with parking possibilities right outside. The sunbeds at the beach you can use for free. The Hotel was renovated with so much love and details, it is really perfect. The breakfast is small but has everything you need and you can order fresh omelette and pancakes 😍 we really loved our stay!
