My room was very clean and functional. The hotel is in a convenient location and within easy walking distance to the town square, where there are good restaurants, markets, and shops. The owners are very friendly and helpful. A simple, nourishing breakfast is served each morning and included in the price, which is a good value. Though I didn't use the pool, it was large and very clean. There is good seating outside.

We loved the terrace, the view, the garden full of olive trees, the proximity to Palekastro, the beaches, and most of all, the great communication with the wonderful host, Andrea. The space is a perfect base to explore the east of Crete, but also to find rest and calmness. 100% recommended!

Tiny village with a great atmosphere.

Tiny village with a great atmosphere. We attended to a traditional event, with cretese music and dances, and in the area you can find very interesting historical sites. The beaches are very close and nice (the coast is facing east, so there are no waves in case the strong wind is blowing). Our favourite beaches have been Kouremenos for windsurfing and Itanos/Paralia for swimming. The best restaurants we tried are Mythos in the village centre and Elia in the close village of Agathias that you can reach on foot in ten minutes. Pharmacy, restaurants, shops, markets. Here you can find all you need for a perfect stay!

Relaxed small village, nice restaurants and far away from the crowds. Perfect for windsurfing holiday, you need to like the wind. We visited it in July and it was relatively quiet, and started to be busy towards the end of the month. Hellas restaurant in the center was our favourite, together with the beach bars

Palekastron is a nice wee village, perfect for exploring the...

Palekastron is a nice wee village, perfect for exploring the east of Crete. It is close to plenty wonderful beaches both North and South in the Lassithi prefecture. The village itself has numerous choices for food, bakery and market for groceries (at least in the summer). I would definitely visit again.

Palekastron is a nice peaceful village with some good...

Palekastron is a nice peaceful village with some good tavernas, where you can taste a very good food at a reasonable price. It is about 1,5 km away from the Kouremenos beach. Palekastron is also a good starting point to visit Vai and another nice beach a few km further on (near the archeologic site) in one direction (to the north) and Zakros with it's very attractive beach in another direction (to the south). One can really relax and enjoy in Palekastron.

We stayed in the second block and had balcony with great view. The hotel is well maintained, and has a great pool. The service was very pleasant and professional The room was specious and clean. We had breakfast included, and it had different varieties. Great location if you are exploring this side (east) of the island.

Nice place surrounded by olive trees, a lot of facilities (Beach, Restaurants, Cafés, Supermarket, town) in walking distance, decent breakfast, very good service and friendly personell. Perfect spot for discovering the very east of Crete. I didn't move my car a single time during my stay.
