The town is kind of suburbia of Thessaloniki, and it is close to the big shopping malls and all that Thessaloniki can offer. A typical small town. Its main advantage is the location — close to the airport, Thessaloniki, and Halkidiki. We used it as a base and traveled frequently: to Pozar Baths, Edessa, Thessaloniki, Mount Olympus, and Thermi (where my sister lives).
