And the most welcoming and pet friendly hotel ever! They even brought bed, bowls to eat and drink water and also asked me if i need food for dog! The brought him his own towel and shampoo! This was amazing and left me speechless, nowhere in the world have i meet such nice people! And the hotel room was sparkling cleane and nice furnished!

We spent a wonderful holiday at San Panteleimon Hotel and would love to share our experience. The hotel exceeded our expectations with its cleanliness, beautiful surroundings, and especially the professional and friendly staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful, kind, and always ready to assist.
We travelled with our almost two-year-old daughter, and from day one we felt truly welcomed. The staff constantly asked if they could help in any way, and they were always happy to prepare special meals for our daughter—whether it was a banana for breakfast, fresh orange juice, or pasta with sauce after a late return from a trip. They even started bringing her a banana every morning without us having to ask. This level of care was truly exceptional.
Our daughter is quite active and doesn’t like to sit still during meals, but not once did we feel like it bothered anyone. On the contrary, everyone smiled at her, greeted her, and it was obvious they were happy to see her. As parents, we deeply appreciated this welcoming and understanding approach.
Another big advantage was the warm, family-friendly atmosphere. Later we found out that the hotel is actually family-run—and you can feel that in the best way. There’s a play area for children, and a lifeguard is always present at the pool, which gave us peace of mind when swimming with a toddler. The beach is just a few steps away and it’s truly beautiful.
We also appreciated the hotel’s flexibility—they had no problem with early check-in. When we went on trips, we received large and delicious packed lunches, and we were even given generous lunch packages for our journey home. The hotel owner would sometimes surprise us with fresh fruit, especially for our daughter, which was another thoughtful touch.
We must also highlight the hotel’s cuisine.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The cleanliness was excellent throughout the hotel.
The hotel has a great space for children, which made our stay even more enjoyable as a family. We would especially like to thank MARYLIN for her kindness, professionalism, and exceptional support. She was always available to help and made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay.
I highly recommend this hotel, especially for families with children. We would be happy to stay here again.

Wonderful hotel. It’s not close to the square but they have a shuttle to take you in and bring you back.
The pool is amazing with breathtaking views of Thessaloniki.
Rooms are comfortable and clean.

The location is the best, on the sea, fabulous view, with garden, secluded, just the best. Yanis, the receptionist is very friendly, the cleaning ladies are working hard and maintain the property excellent. It's quiet, serene, just perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at Alia palace and would definitely come back to stay again. The pool area is wonderful with great views. Food variety is great and so is the quality. Also a big plus for the regular buses to town and beach!

If you planned one really packed day, I’d say that would be...
If you planned one really packed day, I’d say that would be enough to see Thessaloniki. I planned five full days because it was my first time there, and I’ll be flying through the city regularly as a connecting hub, so I wanted to really get to know it in depth.
It turns out that, apart from the waterfront and the bar/restaurant scene (which is really excellent), a few museums, a tiny botanical garden, and basically the city center (let’s say, from the Concert Hall to the Port), there really isn’t much else to do there.
Honestly, we ended up spending time in the same areas every day, just wandering around different streets. After five full days, I feel like I’ve basically become a Thessaloniki expert 😂
I’d say two days, taking it easy, is absolutely more than enough.

Great town, with long beach, many bars, and calm streets as well. Very appropriate for both families and young people. Convenient for Bulgarian travelers. You could also visit Olymp if you like hiking as it is nearby.

Kinda crowded. Lovely beaches - some of them are wild, some of them are managed. Prices were surprisingly acceptable for a beach resort. As everywhere, eating on the beach or buying from the markets close to the beach was kinda expensive.
The good thing was that THE PRICE of renting the sunbeds would imply a consumption of foods and beverages up until the amount of rent. We were 2 adults and a teenager and eating at the beach restaurant (good food, but limited choices) would go a little bit OVER the price of 3 sunbeds.

Pefkohori is a little crowded, especially in the evenings, but it has excellent food, wonderful and welcoming people, and everything you could possibly need for a great holiday.
The beach is quite narrow in some areas and can get a little crowded in August, but it is generally clean, and the areas with sunbeds are well maintained.

Neos Marmaras is a very nice place and definitely worth visiting. I especially recommend Fratelli Beach Bar, great sun protection and shade, polite and friendly staff, and very good service. A great place to relax and enjoy the beach.

Kallithea is probably the best place to stay if you’re traveling to Kassandra, Halkidiki. It has the best nightlife amongst all other towns and enough shops and restaurants for tourists. The main beach gets a bit crowded and the hotels reserve most of the sunbeds but you can explore other beaches in the area.

I enjoyed cloudless warm weather and clear water, beautiful nature, sea food and cozy atmosphere. what I didn't like : beaches were always crawded . You need to find peacful place :D if you don't love crowded areas as me. If you rent a car, it's great option to travel around halkidiki, every area are quite close, 20-30 min max. and my favorutie place Afytos, with amazing viwes, very romantic vibes and panoramic viwes, highly recommended. <3.

Nea Kallikratia is a charming seaside town. The town beach is nothing special, but the nearby beaches are very beautiful. We especially liked Mykoniatika Beach, just a few minutes away by car, with exceptionally clear water, good music, and a relaxed atmosphere.

Over populated, over crowded, the level of greed of local business has reached all time high. The infrastructure is simply not prepared for the amount of properties that are offered. This is inacceptable. Will never ever come anywhere around Polychrono again.

Afitos is a very nice place.
Afitos is a very nice place. A very popular destination for a night out which attracts a lot of visitors from near-by areas.
Amazing views, clear sea waters, lively night life, restaurants and activities for everyone. Predominately a family resort in an ideal location to visit other popular destinations in Halkidiki.
Going to the beach is a bit of a hike as the village is high up on a hill, but definitely worth the walk. You can drive too if you prefer, but be prepared for limited spaces and tight parking spots. During the night, parking is a problem in the village due to the high volume of cars from visitors.
