We liked Nikiti,you wouldn’t want two weeks without a car. Old Nikiti is very pretty,bar there lovely. The scramble to the little chapel {image 5} has a great viewpoint {first image} Try other beaches too there are some great spaces. Paleo Christian Basilica 4th century AD {2nd image} was a good visit Our recommendation would be to book with the 4rent car company,highly rated on trustpilot. Met us at the airport,arrival and departure. With an upgrade. We had full tank,full insurance and they made sure we photographed the outside of the vehicle. We stayed within the hotel grounds for most of the trip, but did walk down the beach to the local town which was really nice, a little run down but the offering along the high street was great. Easy to get to from the aiport (we hired a car) and a lovely drive there.

Nikíti is a nice small town on the west coastline of Sithonia peninsula. It is full of tavernas, shops, you can find there several beaches and a harbour too. There are even more beautiful beaches within 15-30 min. drive from town with white sand and turquoise water. Nikíti has a very lively night life on its promenade, not only the bars and restaurants, but there is also a kind of night market with merchants selling jewellry, paintings, fruits. I really loved the place.

Nikiti is offering a big variety of accommodations with different standards, a large variety of restaurants with different food experiences and prices and a long beach area where one could sit and enjoy the clean waters of Greece. Even regarding the beaches the services could differ - personally we enjoyed staying at Ergon beach where we have been twice during our stay in Nikiti. The location is perfect for families with kids as there are many attractions for the little ones. Every Friday morning there is an open market in Nikiti town where one could experience the original flavors of Greece in terms of fruits, vegetables, olives, oil and different products based on olive oil. It's an experience overall that deserves getting up early and spending a few hours among the local producers.

Nikiti is well located for trips along both coasts of Sithonia which has many beautiful beaches. we were there in the second half of October and enjoyed that there was little traffic and empty beaches.
