We had a ground floor room, next to the pool. The room was immaculate and very well designed. We also really appreciated how thorough the cleaner was, the room was always spotless after she’d been. While the property didn’t offer a breakfast option, it was not a problem at all as there are so many restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. The hosts were lovely and very accommodating and had left some welcome treats. They assisted with arranging transfers and provided plenty of tips for sightseeing on the island. Overall we’ve had a fabulous stay and could not fault the place. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Milos.

Do yourself a favor and book this place! There are not enough words to express how much we enjoyed every moment. Perfect location, Polonia is definitely the place to sleep in Milos, clean at the highest standard, spacious room and pleasant shower, breakfast 10/10, convenient parking, fast communication and all our requests were met, the facilities were perfect for a relaxing vacation with the outdoor hut tub and the huge balcony. We received everything we dreamed of and more! Highly recommended.

The town is small but exactly what my partner and I were after! It was a welcome change following the hustle and bustle of previous cities, and did not feel at all cramped or chaotic! A short drive out of Adamantas, it’s the perfect town to have privacy, but still be able to see and do everything on the island!

We were on Milos for 4 nights, whereas 3 nights would have been more than enough. We ate in Pollonia each evening - nice choices - including Greek-Mexican, tavernas, and sushi. Our favourite restaurant was Nama - delicious food. There are buses from the port to Pollonia but they aren't regular. We rented a car which was better for reaching different beaches and towns. Shopping on Milos isn't great in general, and Pollonia has only 2 souvenir shops - one for men and one for women(!). There is a good supermarket, locals are friendly and say hi, and there is a nice bakery in town (albeit expensive). We spent 3 of our 5 days at Milos Hitana, very close to Pollonia. Great beach, great views, and warm sea. Some of the other beaches on the island are full of louder younger folks living life - we're in our 50s and don't need the screaming.

Pollonia is lovely.

Pollonia is lovely. Beautiful restaurants on the beach (Although quite pricy ) You should walk and explore the area. There are pretty coves and cliffs to see. There are busses from Pollonia to other parts of the island. However, you have to take the bus to Adamas first as Adamas is the bus hub and all busses leave from there to other points of interest. But it is still workable if you are based in Pollonia and Pollonia is quieter than Adams. There is a lovely bakery in Pollonia too and we enjoyed the beach

Milos is quite a large Island so, no matter where you choose to stay, you really need a car to get around. Pollonia is beautiful but very small so if you want to try Plaka for other restaurants, you're quite a drive away, Pollonia doesn't have any shopping but does have a pharmacy, convenience store, grocery store and approx 10 restaurants / coffee shops

Pollonia is a really nice little port town, and one of our favourite places that we went to in Milos. You can also catch the ferry to Kimolos from here, which is ok for a day trip, particularly Bonatsa beach, which is lovely, but very nice to then come back to Pollonia. Akrotiri restaurant in Pollonia is amazing, one of the best meals we had.

Best place to stay in Milos, with nice restaurants, a small marina and some retail shops (pharmacy, mini-market, coffee shops). The island is not big, so from Pollonia you are close to North beaches, but you are at 20-25min drive to South beaches, Adamantas (main port) and Plaka (several restaurants and bars, more active at night)

We loved our stay at Milia Gi Suites! Everyone was so kind, warm, and welcoming. They helped us plan the perfect trip in Milos, booked activities for us, helped us with renting an ATV, and gave us great recommendations. The hotel was in a great location in Pollonia and it felt like home when you were there. Absolutely recommend Milia Gi Suites. We would love to go back!

Everything was perfect, we were all Welcomed ;-). Anthonis was very kind, a lot of suggestions and help-full, he was born and raised in Milos ! Fabulous little hotel right on the water where you can swim off the rocks in the most beautiful clear water. The little village of Pollonia has 5-6 great dining options. We loved Enalion the most. Beautiful fresh seafood & local ingredients. Highly recommend.
