It was a great experience. As soon as we entered the hotel, we met Ms. Efthelyhia, the best representative of Greek hospitality. Her smiling face fascinated us with her sincerity and charity. The location of the hotel is excellent, located by the sea in the harbour. You can meet all your needs such as grocery, restaurant, pharmacy, rent a car, etc. within a maximum of 5 minutes walking distance. Breakfast was one of the best we had in Greece. The charismatic gentleman in this area helped us whatever we wanted. I would like to thank him here. We met an excellent service every morning. The rooms were very modern, very elegant and stylish. We had everything we needed. We extended our accommodation and changed rooms. The cleaning lady quickly prepared our new room and delivered sparkling. The quality of service was so high that when I got to the door of the room, I was trying to find the card, and the officer who saw this quickly helped by bringing the card to me which is on the 1st floor. I didn't even have to go to the reception. The hotel door is locked at night and only opens with room cards. It is therefore quite safe. You can park your car within 2-3 minutes' walk of the hotel. The location was perfect. The port with loads of restaurants, cafes and beaches was no more than a few minutes walk away, and had great links to Plaka and Sarakiniko Beach as the bus stop was just down the road. The hosts were so welcoming, easy to contact if you needed anything, and gave great advice about places to visit and things to do. Overall had a fantastic time and will hopefully be back!

Known as the island of lovers because of the statue of Aphrodite (“Venus of Milo”), which is exhibited in the Louvre Museum of Paris, Milos is very unique thanks to its spectacular rock structures. This romantic destination is a great choice for honeymooners.

Rich in history, Milos was one of the earliest civilisations of the Cyclades islands. Built on a hill overlooking the sea, the picturesque town of Plaka is the island’s capital. Adamas is the main port and offers a selection of tourist facilities and accommodation.

Visit the small fishing village of Pollonia and relax in one of the traditional taverns by the waterfront. Booking.com will help you find a nice hotel, guest house or apartment in the area. Firopotamos is a graphic small village with crystal clear blue waters and little fishermen houses.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel and can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the kindest hosts. They went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and enjoyable, in particular offering thoughtful local insights, giving great recommendations and organizing a car for us, which made exploring the area so much easier. Also, the breakfast was amazing! The highlight for us was without a doubt the stunning view of the sunset from the hotel wich could ideally be paired with a glas of the hotel’s impressive wine selection. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with world-class hospitality, unforgettable views, and great wine, this is the place. We’re already dreaming about coming back!

Our stay was just perfect. From the very first contact, our host Perros was incredible. He went above and beyond by helping me prepare a birthday surprise, which made the experience unforgettable. The property itself is beautiful, with amazing décor by Perros’ mum that creates a warm and stylish atmosphere. Having private parking on site was a huge plus. The location is ideal: far enough from the hustle of Adamas to enjoy peace and rest, yet close enough to reach the main beaches and towns with ease. Breakfast was excellent. Most importantly, Perros and his family are not only super professional but also genuinely kind, which made us feel truly welcome. We could not have asked for more and would recommend this place to anyone visiting Milos.

We stayed here for 4 nights and wish we stayed longer, it was an incredible stay! Everything was perfect! Great location, 2 minute walk to the water/beach and into town. Great bed, shower pressure, strong wifi, well equipped kitchen. Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. Niko on reception was great, so welcoming the minute we arrived giving us good recommendations of what to do on the island and numbers for atv etc. Our room felt very private and had a sunbed on our balcony which was nice, and there’s tables and chairs out the front to hang out.

We had a fantastic stay at the Melian Boutique Hotel. The location is amazing, with beautiful views on the sea, sunset and walking distance from the cute city of Pollonia. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast served in the room was a 10/10! The staff also helped us book a quad a various adventures while on the island. Overall we had a blast in Milos and I would 100% recommend for people to chose this hotel for their stay! The Melian Boutique Hotel is like a hidden gem and we will definitely come back.

We absolutely loved our stay at Livanios Studios in Adamas, Milos. The standout feature was John's incredible kindness, which made us feel right at home. The complex of rooms embodies a picturesque Greek style. Our spacious room was cleaned every two days and equipped with all the essentials. Its proximity to the center, a well-stocked and affordable supermarket, and the port makes it an ideal location. Highly recommended!

Fortunately we were there at the end of the holiday season...

Fortunately we were there at the end of the holiday season so there were no crowds, although by the same token the weather was changing. Adamas is a nice town, with a great selection of tavernas and restaurants, with several excellent bakeries. We found the food generally well priced and many of the tavernas and restaurants had a daily happy hour. There is a good bus service to Plaka (the main town) but the other towns are a bit harder to get to, though there was no shortage of car rental places. Milos has a great history but it appears the ambience of the island is at some risk as resorts, hotels and large apartments are being build to capture the views throughout, much to the displeasure of many local people. The people generally were friendly and helpful.

Pollonia is lovely.

Pollonia is lovely. Beautiful restaurants on the beach (Although quite pricy ) You should walk and explore the area. There are pretty coves and cliffs to see. There are busses from Pollonia to other parts of the island. However, you have to take the bus to Adamas first as Adamas is the bus hub and all busses leave from there to other points of interest. But it is still workable if you are based in Pollonia and Pollonia is quieter than Adams. There is a lovely bakery in Pollonia too and we enjoyed the beach

Triovasalos is very conveniently located: provides easy access to the Hora (Plaka) and is central to the north-east part of the island. The central road provides a number of amenities (best souvlaki, excellent coffee shop, banks and a number of other shops). However, the central road (Karodromos) is quite busy and practically impossible to walk, since there are no pavements.

Unbelievable location.

Unbelievable location. Amazing accommodation and experience we won’t forget. This booking was everything and more to what we expected. There are not many properties in Greece where you step out onto such a private paradisiacal beach.

Lovely restaurants and lots to do And see. Very quaint and what the real Greece is all about. Beaches were stunning. Food choices nice. Service not always good at some restaurants. More wine bars needed with a little music. Need a car or bike to get around the island. Plaka is a must.

Nice to be in a location with some restaurants/bar, lots of shops, incredible views and lots of friendly cats! Safe area and free public parking lot a 10-15 min walk from most places in the Plaka. Overall seems much less crowded and crazy than Adamas Port area. Some small museums in the town. As Plaka is higher up on the island, be prepared for walking inclines/declines and some stairs depending on your route. Limited car parking up close to restaurants and some of the rental accommodations, so something to consider if you have difficulty with mobility. I wouldn't hesitate to stay in this area again.

Milos is quite a large Island so, no matter where you choose to stay, you really need a car to get around. Pollonia is beautiful but very small so if you want to try Plaka for other restaurants, you're quite a drive away, Pollonia doesn't have any shopping but does have a pharmacy, convenience store, grocery store and approx 10 restaurants / coffee shops

Excellent location in Placka.

Excellent location in Placka. The host Stelios really care about the clients and he is used to provide very useful information about restaurants and beaches in Milos and other islands. The studio was amazing with an excellent view. I suggest all future visitors of Milos to stay in the old village of Placka and book a room at Halara Studios.
