BulgariaPotos is a great place if you like to go around the south beaches of Thassos. The location of the hotel is comfortable, parking space available. The rooms look recently renovated and are clean. The communication with the owner was easy. He was very polite and made sure we have everything we need. It was a very peaceful stay, we had no issues.

The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk to the beach and very close to the city center, with all major points of interest practically right next to us.
The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The accommodation was spotless, with regular cleaning and fresh linens and towels provided.
A big plus was the covered parking space, which added extra comfort and peace of mind. Overall, everything was simply great—an excellent experience from start to finish. We highly recommend this place!

BulgariaI don’t really leave 10 as review but in this case i just must do it. The apartment is a real gem - very spacious(it easily fit a party of 7 - 4 adults and 3 kids) spotless clean, right in the heart of Potos. Less than 100m from the sandy and well kept beach. We were met by the kind owner upon our arrival who gave us a very detailed tour and was there for us with all our query.
I strongly recommend Dream of Thassos

If you like international heaving tourist crowds, then...
If you like international heaving tourist crowds, then Photos you will love. If you are after authenticity, peace and quiet, then you will hate it. However, if you have a car, then this village is a decent location as pretty much close to the south tip of the island and hence equidistant almost to explore both western and Easter side of Thassos.

Review of Potos:
Potos has a beautiful location and the sea views are definitely the best part, especially around sunset. Unfortunately, the town itself did not feel as clean or well maintained as expected. Some streets and public areas looked dirty, with rubbish in places where it should not be, which takes away from the overall impression. It is a shame, because the area has great potential, nice beaches, good restaurants and a lively atmosphere. With better cleanliness and maintenance, Potos could be much more attractive for visitors.

Potos is a lively town with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants. The beach is large and had sun beds that are usually free with a purchase, and the hospitality staff were friendly and helpful. Potos is a great location and is in near reach to other places, usually around a 10/20 minute drive. It is close to Theologos, Giola and other nice beaches including Notos and Rosogremos (both beautiful beaches). Perfect place to stay with a perfect amount of activity and also quaintness.

It's a small place, nice for families.
It's a small place, nice for families. Lots of restaurants with nice food and friendly staff. There are a lot of nice beaches nearby by but you have to have a vehicle to get there. Several km away is the city of Limenaria and it's a bit bigger and a bit more fun.

Potos has a nice mixture of busy touristic party life and cosy family atmosphere - a bit of something for everyone. There are nice tavernas and restaurants, but also a good variety of bars to have a drink after long day at beach.
There are plenty of grocery stores, if you want to cook for yourself.
The main road is a bit crowded, but you could drive around if need be.

Potos itself was not very interesting to me, but it is a great place to explore the island from. There is a huge free parking on the entrance to the city which is a great benefit.
Must see:
- Giola lagoon (jump if you dare)
- Salonikios beach
- Trypiti beach
- La Scala
- Marble beach

It is a nice room right in the center of Potos. Just below the room is the street with the tourist shops, mini markets, restaurants, cafes and in two minutes walk you are on the beach. While it is in a central location it is equally quiet. The owners and the cleaning lady are helpful and kind, they responded immediately to anything we needed. On the last night of our stay they also gave us a small gift as a thank you. I found it wonderful! Thank you ☺️

Nice hotel, near center of Potos with a beautiful pool area. The staff are super nice and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice. I ate in their tavern in the evening and try very delicious dish ''chicken loukoulos'' (chicken with carry). I came only for one night to Thassos to see some friends which we having holidays here but next time I will definitely come to this hotel for more days.

The apartment is new, very nicely furnished, modern, and exceptionally clean. The cleaning staff do an excellent job — everything was neat and in perfect order throughout our stay. A good parking area is also a big plus. The location is quite good as well, in a quiet part of Potos, while still being within easy reach of everything.

Very nice family hotel. Super clean rooms, large beds, beautiful garden. Excellent place, near to the beach and the center of Potos. We liked very much our hosts. We recommended Haus Elsa. ❤️Also Thassos is so beautiful.
