Everything was excellent. The property is extremely clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The room is well-equipped with everything you might need. There is a shared kitchen, which also has everything you need. A microwave is available for use. Complimentary coffee is provided. There is a washing machine and a drying system for clothes. We had a wonderful 5-night stay. Thank you all!

Beautiful setting. Great facility. Friendly, helpful staff. Above and beyond what you need/expect. My holiday had issues and was foreshortened but the lady owner was lovely,understanding and accommodating.The rooms are of a high standard, ours had a magnificent view....sunsets, the bay, the lights, the verdant countryside and hills. The dining facilities were excellent....as good as any local restaurant. All in all, as a seasoned traveller and having used hundreds of hotels over my last 40 years travelling I can say that choosing to stay here would be a decision that you're unlikely to regret.

The breakfast was more than enough. A lot of choices including fruits and cereal. The staff was amazing and eager to help you with whatever you need. All the staff speaks English and are happy to have a chat with you. The waiters/staff can give you a lot of recommendations on what to do on the island.

Everything about this accommodation was breathtaking. The views. The food. The service. The incredible rooms. The passionate hospitality. From the moment we were greeted by Eleni with such warmth at reception, to walking into our room and being absolutely blown away by the beauty of the room but the view too. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable with any queries we had about the island and passionate about the food and hospitality aspect of the hotel, too. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices and served in the room. Truly one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed in. We can't wait to come back. Thank you Icon Suites

Potos is a lively town with lots of bars, cafes and...

Potos is a lively town with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants. The beach is large and had sun beds that are usually free with a purchase, and the hospitality staff were friendly and helpful. Potos is a great location and is in near reach to other places, usually around a 10/20 minute drive. It is close to Theologos, Giola and other nice beaches including Notos and Rosogremos (both beautiful beaches). Perfect place to stay with a perfect amount of activity and also quaintness.

It's a small place, nice for families.

It's a small place, nice for families. Lots of restaurants with nice food and friendly staff. There are a lot of nice beaches nearby by but you have to have a vehicle to get there. Several km away is the city of Limenaria and it's a bit bigger and a bit more fun.

Potos has a nice mixture of busy touristic party life and cosy family atmosphere - a bit of something for everyone. There are nice tavernas and restaurants, but also a good variety of bars to have a drink after long day at beach. There are plenty of grocery stores, if you want to cook for yourself. The main road is a bit crowded, but you could drive around if need be.

Potos itself was not very interesting to me, but it is a great place to explore the island from. There is a huge free parking on the entrance to the city which is a great benefit. Must see: - Giola lagoon (jump if you dare) - Salonikios beach - Trypiti beach - La Scala - Marble beach

It is a nice town with a lot of taverns to eat.

It is a nice town with a lot of taverns to eat. I recommend the followings, in the order we enjoyed: Poseidon, Klimataria (here you have to wait a little bit more for food preparation, but the taste is awesome) and Irene Official. The Potos Beach is very nice with not very deep water at the shore, which recommend it for families with children. The prices for 2 sunbeds and one umbrella are between 10 EUR without consumption to a full consumption of 15 EUR or even 20 EUR in some places. There are a lot of small shops for souvenirs and also there are many small supermarkets and one big supermarket Masoutis. You can practice water sports and parasailing.

The road to Potos is amazing, the location is beautiful, the hosts are excellent, but the local authorities do not seem to care too much to preserve the traditional places or local architecture. The streets are destroyed and full of dust, many houses or buildings are in ruins. The beaches are small and crowded, too small for the number of tourists from the city. On the other hand, there are very good restaurants (Poseidon, Irene, etc), where the food is very fresh, big size, and the services pretty good. All in all is good. The local hosts and good restaurants make the difference.

Everything was great! As soon as you enter the property, there’s a reception desk and you get the chance to meet the very friendly staff. The room was great, the service as well and the food was really tasty. There’s a very clean pool and a pool bar where you can order a drink. Even though I stayed here for a day, I had a great time and felt very welcomed. I will definitely choose hotel Potos for my next stay in Thassos.

The apartment was at a great location really close to the beach local shops bars and restaurants. The owner was very friendly and helpful and pointed us towards some amazing restaurants that served real Greek food. Parking was easy and safe (I had an open roof car) infront of the apartment.

Nice apartment, comfortable beds, very clean, big parking, we had also the big terrace since we were on the ground floor which was very good. Nice town beach is 6 min away walking, but it's usually very crowded, so we found some other by car. Shops and restaurants are very near.
