The view from the bedroom on the second floor was just amazing. Despite the fact that we were there before the summer season in April, the breakfast was quite rich. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The garden, grass, flowers and trees were very well maintained.

We had a really good time here, the staff was extremely comunicative and friendly, we had a nice welcome.
The room was ok equipped and the internet was fine, not perfect, but then again it was better than most of Greece.
All the hotel's spaces seemed very well looked after with good attention to detail.
The beach was awesome, the bar was serving drinks and food on the spot, the staff from the beach was really friendly as well.
We were really impressed by the breakfast, there was a lot of variety and within the resort there's also a very good tavern.
I will definitely try booking again in the future.

I liked that the hotel maintains an exceptional level of cleanliness when it comes to both inside facilities like the bedroom or restaurant as well as the beach. Also great facilities, was really impressed by the vast array of sports activities available, such as eater sports, volleyball, table tennis and pool. Food was great as well, with a large selection of international as well as traditional greek meals.

Hotel is amazing, one of the cleanest in which I had stay. Pool is very big and beaufitul with a lot of space for everyone. Breakfast also very good. Position of hotel is great because everything is away couple of minutes by foot. All the personels in hotel are amazing, but special thanks for all the maids.

After a night at Alea Suites, I would love to rrecommend it. My room opened to a balcony with stunning sea views, making it a true luxury experience. The seaside tavern, Almyra, offered delightful Greek dishes and the staff was attentive and friendly. Strongly recommended.

The staff is very nice, the owners are present and very nice, the view is great, just in front of the sea, across the street is the beach, great breakfast, the garden is great with lots of flowers and trees and nice conversation areas.

The town was pretty, but the beach horrible.
The town was pretty, but the beach horrible. Nothing like the pictures. Too crowded, the water was muddy and dirty, my daughter’s skin got irritated and caught an infection on her nose from the water. Not what we expected.
We explored the island and found very good wild beaches. Everything else on the island was very nice and beautiful.

If you like international heaving tourist crowds, then Photos you will love. If you are after authenticity, peace and quiet, then you will hate it. However, if you have a car, then this village is a decent location as pretty much close to the south tip of the island and hence equidistant almost to explore both western and Easter side of Thassos.

Looks spectacular in pictures but if it is windy not best experience as it can get wavy and not clean (sea weed or just dusty waters). There are many options to eat but are just basic in what they offer. Nothing that would give you the feeling of an authentic greek cuizine but greek summer has died many years ago. We tried even the most expensive place in the area again to get ripped from the high prices and disappointed from the small portions and mediocre quality

Skala Rachoniou is a nice and quiet, small place. Excellent for vacation and relaxation. Plenty of crystal, cool sea water with exceptional small size beaches located next to each other. Tasty traditional Greek cuisine offered from several tavernas in a close walking distance. Nice bakery located downtown on the main road. Supermarkets available as well. Nice boutique hotels and villas everywhere.

Prinos is probably the most boring and not so pretty place...
Prinos is probably the most boring and not so pretty place on Thassos so I wouldn't stay there again even though the appartment we staied in was nice and the hosts were great. Near by there are nicer locations and if you don't mind the view and the village and travel all over the island, Prinos can be a place for just sleeping. It is cheaper to eat out compared to Potos for example. So not too bad, but if you are looking for a pretty Greek village - that is not the one :)

Small town, quiet.
Small town, quiet. You have a nice bakery hidden in one of the small streets on the right side of the beach. You have good restaurants; the beach bars are cheap. The beach itself has some rocks on the shore, but once you get in the water - clean, no rocks, no issues. And also no sludge from all the sunscreen that usually sits on top of the water because of the hundreds of people. Because there aren't hundreds of people there. Worth visiting if you are looking to have some time to relax - there isn't good service coverage there, so it's definitely helpful for people to put down their phones.

Ideal for quiet and peaceful vacation. Small place yet it has everything one might need. I did not see any pharmacy, though. I would highly recommend small beach and the Bikini beach bar. Good food at Faros snack bar. Relaxing atmosphere and good service

We chose the place due to the proximity of Golden and Paradise beach since we liked those the most the year before when we were there with the kids (4 and 6 years old). You do need a car but that means that everything you need is not more than 15 minutes away.
