It’s location 30 seconds from the beach and restaurants, its free parking in the rear, the helpful personnel (they made me hot tea when I didn’t feel well),
A good breakfast, a spacious and comfortable room, a nice balcony with drying rack, table and chairs overlooking the sea, quiet.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Lassion Golden Bay Hotel & Resort, and it exceeded all my expectations. The resort's 17 hectares of lush greenery and stunning 180° sea views create an idyllic setting. The rooms, all recently renovated, are equipped with modern amenities and offer breathtaking views. The 450m² swimming pool, direct sea access, and exceptional leisure facilities ensured a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure.
Dining at their restaurant was a culinary delight, offering exquisite Cretan dishes that were both authentic and delicious. The variety and quality of the food were exceptional, making each meal a memorable experience. Breakfast is served by Maria, a local lady who couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Maria radiated happiness and Greek hospitality, making each morning a joyous start to the day.
A special mention goes to William, the owner, who was incredibly welcoming and polite. He went above and beyond to ensure that my wife and I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. His warm hospitality truly made us feel at home.
The staff’s overall warmth and hospitality made the experience truly memorable. Highly recommended for a dream vacation!

The apartment block is located 3min away (by car) from the city center, making it ideal if you want to stay away from the city noise and relax. A parking spot was also provided for our car. The house was clean when we arrived and it could easily fit up to 5-6 people. Finally, the view from the top floor was stunning.

Located in the port of Siteia, just 66 feet from the sea, Nora Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and balcony overlooking the Cretan Sea and the mountains.
Siteia is real Greece. The town is built on a steep slope by a big bay, with a lovely long sandy beach and very calm. The area by the port really comes alive on Saturday nights. The town has all amenities you may need. The area to the south and east is wild and mountainous, with winding roads, some of them steep with many hairpin bends. The views are magnificent, always with the sea in sight. The east is quite barren, even like a desert in places, but everywhere you find olive groves and vineyards, and isolated virgin beaches. It was a bit like stepping back in time to the Greece of the 1970's.

Sitia is a lovely authentic Cretan town on the east side of Crete, which is not over-run by tourists. The beaches around have calm, beautiful clear water ideal for swimming and snorkelling. Vai beach in particular is sensational. From Sitia one can easily drive down to Zakros and Kato Zakros and also hike through the Zakros gorge.

make sure you book to stay in town, this property was on outskirts and at the top of a hill and hilly area to get around. was nice for views and very pretty apartment and well equipped but too far to get anywhere which limits your ability to explore especially in hot weather. AND THERE IS NO LIFT ON 3 RD FLOOR.

Sitia isn't of itself pretty, but the region that surrounds it is full of treasures from Minoan sites and geological wonders through to highly trekkable gorges and ravishing views. A car is essential and exploring is well worthwhile for the smiles per mile.

Sitia is a small town, not very touristy as it's so far east. You need a car to get to Sitia and it's not an easy drive. However, it's definitely worthwhile making the effort to get there as it's a lovely town with a great beach . There are lots of excellent restaurants overlooking the sea.
It was a dream vacation, really!!! Great place with charming views on Sitia and Sitia bay, and hills with clouds on them.
Very helpful and friendly stuff, fresh, diverse and very tasteful food and drinks.
Many places to go inside the hotel itself, it is more like an estate, with pools, gardens, and a private beach with a private pass underneath the highway.
We will return to the Sitia Beach City!!
Simon Sea view deserves its name. It has the best sea view from any Greek property we have stayed in.
We walked mostly direct from here, and on one day caught the bus to Ve from right outside. Flag it down. Pay on the bus. Plenty of tavernas in Sitia itself. House of Crete is especially good.
The location was excellent, as the hotel's position on the waterfront of the city allowed direct access to the city centre, which was in close proximity. Great selection of shops for coffee and food, easy access to the town's airport, perfect for a relaxing stay in Sitia.
we had a little problem at the beginning but the staff was ready to solve the situation. the house was modern and clean. a perfect location to visit the east Crete
