Tolo is a strip of excellent shops and tavernas parallel to the beach. We found it very convenient and all within walking distance from our hotel. We found the best place to eat was Marinos which is a little away from the beach, but there were other excellent places to eat near the beach. We particularly enjoyed our boat trip to Hydra and Spetses. The bigger town of Nafplio had some excellent museums and shops.

We had bigger expertasions but god dissapointed. Tolo is nothing but soveniers, cafe/tavernas, bars, icecreme shops - but everything is old and needes renovation. Tolo is great for a party vacation, I guess!

Tolo is an old destination.
Tolo is an old destination. But it is being rejuvenated and is very close to Nafplio and all the historical sites. Great to be next to a beach destination after a long hot day site seeing. It was also nice to have a swim in the calm safe waters first thing I. The morning before all locals and tourists arrive. Tolo is Tolo....it's unique.
Tolo is Tolo....it's unique. Still a fishing village but with all the facilities you could want. Great bars, restaurants and authentic food. Sandy beach is lovely but at the weekends be prepared for an influx of visitors from Athens when Tolo really comes alive. You will find that people go back year after year from countries all over Europe. Relax at Cafe ExPress Bar.... Manolis and his family.

Nice location, near the beach (10 minutes on foot but it’s uphill - 3 minutes by car), great shaded comfortable parking spaces right across the hotel. You could also use the pool and the bar across the hotel which was a nice addition! The owners were very kind and helpful with everything! They have also installed great new air conditioning units. The bed was also very comfortable. I totally recommend it to anyone who wants to have a nice time in Tolo!

Very friendly staff. Has lift. Can walk along the beach to tavernas - Barbarossa and Romvi both very good. Busy main street behind the hotel has loads of shops, bars and restaurants.
