One of the most clean houses I've ever been! Spacious, well furnished and extremely clean! The hosts met as at the front door with traditional greek drink and huge smiles. They had prepared cookies and milk for the Kids and some eggs from their chickens. The view from the baclony at the night is fantastic, but in the morning was even more fascinating. Perfect experience! The place is much better than the pictures here.

. We were greeted at the reception by the kind and helpful Maria. We were upgraded to a deluxe room without asking, a large and luxurious room with 2 wide balconies, great view to the lake. The hotel is clean and well equipped, an excellent pool, a very good breakfast with a large and delicious selection.

Frontzu Politia is my favourite spot in Ioannina, location is probably as good as it gets, the atmosphere is amazing and the boutique feeling with the traditional touch is a perfect combination of modern and traditional, I would recommend it 100%, staff is always helpful and very friendly, going out of their way to assist. The breakfast is a whole experience on its own as it is located in the highest point with a beautiful view of the lake and the entire city. Additionally mr Giorgos that has been looking after the guests in the breakfast is like a walking encyclopedia for the city and surroundings, he is always offering information and tips. As for the food it is great with local options, fresh eggs etc. Do not miss it!

The hotel was new, high spec and high tech. Large secure underground car park. Lady on reception was brilliant and couldn’t help us enough. Easy walking distance to old town area that’s full of restaurants and cafe bars
