GreeceExcellent experience, cozy apartment located in the center of Vonitsa, all around you have everything you need for a great stay (just below the apartment is the best bakery in town, with excellent quality products and incredible service from the staff). The supermarket is 20 meters away,and the beach and various restaurants are just a few minutes' walk away. The attention from the host Vagelis is unbeatable; he is a person with an excellent attitude and kind heart who strives to offer his best so that guests feel comfortable and at home. Communication via messages on the booking platform was fast and detailed. Overall, everything was perfect, and I will definitely return. 100% recommended place.

A small genuine village with enough restaurants and fast food to cover a week or two. a small beach with free sun beds, nice water and a very cool relaxed vibe makes Vonitza recommendable for both couples and families.

AT A BARBEQUE (SOUVLAKI) SHOP CALLED "GYROFOLIA" THEY CHARGED ME 7 PIECES OF SOUVLAKI (7*1,90 EUROS) INSTEAD OF 5 PIECES OF SOUVLAKI I HAD ORDERED AND I HAD GOT.
ALSO THE QUALITY OF FOOD WAS VERY BAD !!! THE SOUVLAKI ITEM WAS CONSISTED OF 10 PIECES, BUT MOST OF THEM WERE NOT MEAT BUT FAT . . .
VERY BAD CHOICE OF MINE !!! THESE GUYS ARE NOT PROFESSIONALS . . . DO NOT CHOOSE THEM !!!

Little village with a beach and just a few cafes and...
Little village with a beach and just a few cafes and restaurants that is entirely Greek, virtually no other nationalites seem to visit the place. On the down size this also means that the service in all of the cafes and restaurants is catered to Greek expectations, so always friendly yet never quick or efficient, expect to spend a lot of time waiting. If the place is busy, ie. more than 4 tables occupied, then you can expect to wait a very long time indeed!

Vonitsa is very quiet and peaceful place suitable for holiday and rest with beautiful castle ruins on the hill and island which is connected by bridge with mainland . There is everything what you need for spending of wonderful holiday.
There is missing bus connection from the airport to Vonitsa and back.
