We spent two really nice, quiet days and three nights in the Patrikon apartment. It is located directly above the landlady. The landlady gave us a very friendly welcome and was very helpful with any questions we had. The view over the valley is sensational and beautiful. The apartment is a little older, but very clean, everything works well and is furnished with lovely, loving details. We were greeted with cookies and apples from the region. The appliances in the kitchen are brand new. We felt very comfortable here and can only recommend it.

The building is arranged in a beautiful style and with love for small details. Mrs Victoria is an artist. Our room was absolutely clean, equipped with a kitchenette to cook small dishes. The apartments are close to the center of Zagorá which is a bit spread in the hillside. Summarized the place is a pretty good choice, with an amazing sea view, nice service and furniture. Zagora is famous for its apples, and agriculture is the main occupation for the majority of inhabitants; anyway, it is rich in historic churches too. There are some very good restaurants and Chorefto is a long beach at the crystal waters of the Aegean sea (though we must admit that the sea is frequently too rough).

Zagora is a lovely village, however, due to its location far away from Volos, as well as its harsh history during the years of the Turkish occupation, it is less 'touristy' and certainly not as picturesque as some of the other villages of the Pelion. There is definitely a 'ruggedness' to the village. I would recommend visiting Zagora for a day or two, and certainly seeing the library, the Ellinomuseio, and the four churches (Agia Paraskevi, Agua Kiriaki, Agios Georgios, Sotira). In the summer, it is also worth visiting Chorefto beach. The best months to visit Zagora weather-wise are from May to September. I visited for two weeks in late October - the average high was about 12°C and while it didn't rain it was cloudy 95% of the time.

Zagora is a big village which, unlike a lot of Pelion villages, is not over-run with tourists. You can get the bus or drive to Chorefto Beach which is pretty stunning. We enjoyed exploring the village.

Great hospitality of Ioanna and her husband and Makis their son.Amazing sea view from high point, quiet, clean and very nice apartment with parking (it is very important). Zagora is pretty big village, full of life and a good choice if you want peaceful not very hot holiday on a wonderful Pelion.

The hotel is located at the edge of the central part of Zagora. We stayed in a room with a small balcony that had a wonderful view of the sea. The owner was kind, friendly, and very helpful—he even carried my suitcase up to the second floor, as there was no elevator.
