Pros: Amazing traditional stone house turned into an inn. Blends perfectly with the surrounding nature and folk aesthetic. Little waterfall adds to the ambiance. The staff Mrs. Anna, Mrs. Eleni and Mr. Nikos go above and beyond and are true stars. Special thanks to Mr. Nikos being available late at night!

Wonderful surroundings, renovated hotel, cozy room with comfortable bed, delicious breakfast and above all welcoming, good-hearted owners/staff. They also helped me with my big luggage and asked me at the end of every day if I needed anything. Plus, they have a very sweet dog. I definitely recommend this place and I hope I get the chance to come back soon.

It is a gorgeous hotel with amazing amenities that will step up your vacation. The room was spotless, with great and calm interior. The breakfast was nice, and it was great value for money. I will definitely be staying there next time I’m in Volos. They made sure our pet was welcome and even put a little bowl for his food/water in the room, which was very thoughtful! Only love for this hotel and its people! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt really pampered by the kind staff. Our room was bright, tastefully furnished and super clean. The breakfast was heavenly, the best local delicacies were freshly prepared and served every morning. The location was perfect, just a stone’s throw from Argalasti’s square and a short drive from the near beaches. The owners and the team definitely go the extra mile to make your stay remarkable. Very friendly staff helped us with a lot of information and requests, good and varied breakfast, although staying 7 days, the food is similar. Cleaning was done daily, towels changed. The hotel is located on a sloping street, very quiet, but close to the central area of the village which we were able to visit easily. The bar is very well stocked, and the desserts were very good. Opposite the hotel is a small restaurant that you must try

Everything The property is very well organized We received a very warm welcome at the midnight and the room was so comfortable and had best view. The shower had very strong pressure and the Internet was good. Konstantinos ans his mother were so nice and kind as well as the housekeeping lady with beautiful smile. Breakfast was very good and they made the best tea for me(a serious tea drinker) and I enjoyed it very much.

Very beautiful traditional Greek mountain village with small shops (local products) and few restaurants. Difficult to find parking in the center of the village, one public parking but it's very small. Easy to make road trips around Pelion area - go around if you have a car, this is one of the most beautiful regions in Greece (also in summer, not only winter). Some part of the roads (in Pelion area, not in Portaria) were destroyed in winter 2024 during storms. Unfortunately, they were still destroyed in July 2024. You can go around by car, roads are not closed, but needs a bit attention in many places and wouldn't recommend to drive at night (dark). Time from Portaria to beach (Agios Ioannis, Papa Nero) took from us abt 40 min so take your time. To Village "Kala Nera" (nice beach, long with plenty of place in July) a bit less.

Tsagarada is a charming village, renowned for its extraordinary natural beauty and unique setting. Settled in the heart of a chestnut forest, it attracts many visitors during the summertime who come to enjoy its peaceful atmosphere, breathtaking views and offering of an excellent traditional cuisine deeply rooted in the Pelion region’s rich culinary heritage. Founded in 1500, Tsagarada is composed of four picturesque settlements, each centered around beautifully restored old churches: Taxiarches, Agia Paraskevi, Agia Kyriaki, and Agios Stephanos. These churches are notable for their exquisite wooden carved iconostases. Tsagarada offers a perfect blend of nature, history, and tradition, making it a truly unforgettable destination.

The village may look small, but it has everything you need – supermarkets, souvenir shops, cozy restaurants and cafés, a bakery, a children’s playground, and a newly renovated church. From here, you can enjoy a walk along the promenade to Kato Gatzea or Koropi. A short 10-minute drive takes you up into the mountains to the beautiful villages of Vizitsa and Milies. In the other direction, you can visit the Voliotis family olive mill or head to Ano Lechonia to catch the little train for a picturesque ride through the mountains.

We visited Mouresi in April when it was in full spring bloom and was low season as the high season is summer when people come to enjoy the beach. We were there to walk the ancient paths that criss-cross the peninsula between villages that date from centuries of use by the people that have lived there. It is a quaint rural area of Greece! There is not a lot of cultural sightseeing...just quaint villages and windy hairpin turn roads with the ocean and beaches, making for a laid-back vacation. We were there to hike but it would be too hot in the summer.

Zagora is famous for its apples, and agriculture is the main occupation for the majority of inhabitants; anyway, it is rich in historic churches too. It is a place for quiet holiday, small but cozy village down the mountain, with different beaches and a lot of trees (there is a woods of chestnut and platan trees on the mountain above and in the village).
