Archontiko Kantartzi 4 stars

Hotel in Portariá

The fully restored Archontiko Kantartzi is a 19th century mansion set just 50 metres from the picturesque centre of Portariá. The property boasts a bar and stone-paved garden with BBQ facilities. The location is great, in the middle of Portaria with a beautiful view from the window. The building itself is an impressive mansion with a very pleasant front yard. The front yard is also very good when visiting with children since they can go outside, far away from the cars on the street. There was a great breakfast included. The owner is a very nice person who is pleasant to chat with and is also very informative and gave us advice regarding things to do in the area.

Hotel Adam 2 stars

Hotel in Makrinítsa

Located in the scenic village of Makrinitsa, Hotel Adam features traditional accommodation with views of the Pagasetic Gulf or Pelio Mountains. Many older Greek couples spend their holidays on Mt Pelion, but it shows a different side of Greece to any international tourist heading to some remote Cycladic island. A very refreshing stop, only 15km away from the highway. The breakfast is simply exaggerated. Nobody on earth can survive those 6 dishes.

Hotel Maistra 3 stars

Hotel in Tsagarada

The stone-built Maistra is located in the picturesque village of Tsagarada, a 5-minute drive from Mylopotamos beach. This is a one man hotel - Nikos is the owner and doing everything there for you. Clean rooms, amazing garden to spend the morning and eat the homemade breakfast Nikos makes. We greatly recommend! (Although a part of us wants to keep this amazing place to ourselves).

Archontiko Elda 2 stars

Hotel in Agios Dimitrios

Archontiko Elda is located in Agios Dimitrios, 300 metres above sea level, offering a panoramic view on the Aegean Sea. A homemade breakfast is prepared and served at the time of your preference. We stayed 5 nights and had a wonderful time. The rooms are very clean and tidy, quite spacious, and the view from the balcony is stunning. Even if we didn't need most of it, there is all the equipment you could need (small kitchen, two fridges...). The hosts were extremely welcoming, always available, and gave us a lot of recommendations. Finally, the breakfast was very good with a few savory items and different homemade cakes every day.
