Everything was clean, nice rooms, cozy, excellent view, good breakfast, kind staff

Pros: Amazing traditional stone house turned into an inn. Blends perfectly with the surrounding nature and folk aesthetic. Little waterfall adds to the ambiance. The staff Mrs. Anna, Mrs. Eleni and Mr. Nikos go above and beyond and are true stars. Special thanks to Mr. Nikos being available late at night!

We stayed 3 nights and it was absolutely fabulous. The hotel is in a very goid location, in a quite place but only 10 minutes walk away from the centre through of 1000 years old gravel path. Clean rooms, friendly and helpful owner. Highly recomended!

Everything is new and luxurious. The room is very clean and all the finishes are great. The staff is very welcoming and tries to accomodate your needs. Plus they have a doggie on the property 🩷

The view, the breezy air in the hot summer weather, the parking area provided the perfect location to visit Pelion, nearby villages and Volos.

The staff was very helpful. The rooms were spotless. The size of the rooms was bigger than expected. Shower very modern. Breakfast and dinner were also very good. Strongly recommended.

We had a very pleasant stay at Alkistis Hotel in Portaria. Especially for the Carnival period, it was excellent value for money. The hotel is located just a few meters from the central square of Portaria, so getting around was very easy. Everything was beautiful, and all the staff were extremely kind and welcoming. Contrary to some comments we read before arriving, we honestly did not find anything negative. Our room was spotless and warm throughout our entire stay. We would happily stay here again and definitely recommend it.

i highly reccomend Kritsa Hotel. It is located centrally in Portaria, providing parking, which is rare, and the best breakfasti had in a long time. Since it is also a restaurant every product is fresh and delicious and they also own a farm so the ingredients are local. Imagine people from other hotels visit this one for their breakfast. The restaurant is also one of the best in the aera and even if it is downstairs we didnt hear a thing. Great experience in total!

The room with the fireplace was very cosy. Plenty of wood was provided to keep the fire burning for a few hours. The staff were super friendly. They helped us with everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious. Everything was homemade and there was a large choice of foods. The en-suite bathroom size was fine for me. The shower was great.

The hotel is located very conveniently - a short drive to Volos, a good starting point for both east and west excursions, close to Makrinitza, another well-known gem. The hotel grounds are stunning, there's plenty of parking, a decent gym and a friendly and very helpful staff.

It was great. The host is really nice and asked us many times if we needed help with our luggage ;-) Thanks again ;)
