Very comfortable and well located next to a shopping mall with restaurants etc. The family were extremely friendly and helpful even giving us a lift to the bus stop the next day. We were travelling from Antigua to El Salvador and found this a good way to break up the journey. If you are stopping here I'd highly recommend this place.

Breakfast that is included is incredible, the cabina was amazing with the most incredible views, staff were wonderful, food was good, i was literally sad to leave. Other activities there were great, easy to get to as well.

The breakfast was really good, fresh and very tasty. Only you had to go to the Mestizo hotel in Antigua town, as the Cortijo does not (yet) offer breakfast. The hotel organizes a free transport.
