The apartment was excellent, close to the airport with free transfer. Ivan was an excellent host, we arrived late 11pm as our flight was delayed but this was not a problem. The restaurant Domestico directly beside the apartments was fantastic, great food and great team. We have already booked to come back and stay in Sky apartments and will be back to the restaurant also. Thanks again for making our stay memorable.

If you are looking for a beautiful location near DBV airport, Cavtat is perfect. Hotel was not too expensive, and the restaurant Zino at the bottom of their stairs was one of our best meals. Try a glass of wine in the Villa at the cove for a beautiful view of the area. We toasted our last sunset with a glass of prosecco on the lounge chairs near the church, sold by a vendor closeby. Verlo Dobro!!
Cavtat is very pretty resort but there isn't much to do other than look at an old church and walk around the coastal path. However, it is a quick, easy journey from the airport and a great base to travel about from, with easy access to Dubrovnik by local bus. There were plenty of good restaurants to choose from but slightly too expensive. There are a couple of souvenir shops, a jewellery shop, a very handy, reasonably priced takeaway bakery and a supermarket. Along the promenade there were tour guides offering several trips. The journey to Dubrovnik by ferry is an easy alternative to the regular bus service.
Cavtat provides a relaxing breathtakingly beautiful holiday. A swimmers paradise with so many little safe spots to swim. Easy to navigate around Cavtat. Plenty of restaurants along sea front to choose from serving beautiful fresh fish and other choices. Bars along this area to chill in and take in the views. Lots of extremely steep hills so definitely not suitable generally for mobility impaired people.
Líbilo se · Where to start? Great host, clean rooms, no problems with hot water (which is surprisingly common during my travels), kitchen, grill - everything available. Marina, the host in the Giardino apartments, speaks great English and told us lots of things and recommendations about Cavtat - for example, that you can find the birthplace of Vlaho Bukovac, who (among others) led The Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, in the town. In general, Cavtat was the best choice of a village or town to stay - at least in the range between Dubrovnik and Dubrovnik Airport. We walked around a lot and Cavtat has it all - a beautiful and historical city center, museum of mussels, Vlaho Bukovac birthplace, lots of beaches and bars (where the prices are not as good as we were used to in Croatia, but they are still acceptable - when compared to Dubrovnik, for example) and many more. I'd recommend 3 places to eat at - 1) Kabalero with a totally amazing calzone-style pizza called Piroška, 2) By the Way with a beautiful view from the terrace and a biiiig portion of great Pljeskavica (minced meat filled with cheese and chilli - but not too hot) and 3) BokunBocun with really good daily lunch and dinner offers (had 2 AMAZING black risottos and a liter of great wine for 40 €, also with a great live-performing musician). Other stuff we recommend to do - the Ronald Brown Pathway (20 km hilly walk with great views) - the Dubrovnik Way of the Cross (do not go there in flip-flops) - Plaža Kupari with old empty hotels from the 60s (walked there from Cavtat, too, but the route was hell) - buy fish and shrimps from the local fisherman - every morning next to the Studenac market. Fresh, for a good price, and the taste is amazing (bought shrimps and did them on white wine and garlic)
Cavtat is a lovely town, lots of little rocky / pebbly beaches, some with sunbathing platforms and beds. Many cafes, restaurants and bars and the fantastic Peco bakery. Beautiful blue and turquoise sea, fantastic views. Hotels and apartments along the coast road, in town and up the hills. Great place for taking water taxis and boat trips to other lovely places in the area. Went to Dubrovnik, Mlini, Srebreno, Kupari and Lokrum.
Nice cute town better shopping than most areas, nice restaurants in the area and great walking. Hotels and accommodations were more affordable than other areas. Very close to airport but expect the air traffic too
Cavtat
Superb place to stay while visiting the Dubrovnik/Cavtat area. The apartment is immaculate and a great size for a family of 5. Our host Anita was so helpful and attentive. We were located right beside the beach in Cavtat and also minutes walking to all the restaurants and shops. We would highly recommend this place to stay and we really hope to be back. Thank you to Anita and family at House Glasnovic for making our trip to Croatia so memorable.
Cavtat
Great location. Only a 5min walk from the beautiful Rat beach as well as Cavtat promenade which offered many restaurants, a small supermarket and departure for boat tours to Dubrovnik/other islands. The apartment was spacious with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, well equiped kitchen and a large terrace with a beautiful view of Cavtat. (We booked the 2 bedroom apartment). Overall a great accomodation with lovely hosts, highly recommend!
Cavtat
Villa Markoc is located in a beautiful residential area of Cavtat. A small town, an old town, great restaurants, bars and friendly warm people. Easy access to the beach, restaurants. But you can also spend time at the villa swimming pool. The apartments are large, cosy, clean and have everything you could possibly need. The owner is friendly, helpful and lovely. The place is very close to Dubrovnik airport.
This hotel was an absolute gem. It is clean, spacious, has a great view and is just a few minutes walking from the center of town. It has a fantastic kitchen, I rate the food here to be as good or better than in some fine restaurants. I still can't figure out why this is only a three star hotel. I've been in many four star hotels in Croatia which were worse than this one.
Cavtat
We absolutely loved our stay. The apartment is clean, modern, and has eberything that one would need for a short stay, plus a great sea view. On top of that Miho communicated perfectly and reacted quickly to any request we had. It is a short walk from Cavtat, which is a wonderful place well worth exploring, , and a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik.
Cavtat
Beautiful apartment with a gorgeous view. Most amazing sunset I’ve ever seen! Host was awesome and quick to respond to our text. She helped arrange transportation from airport and for our day of departure in Dubrovnik as well. I would definitely stay here next time we are in Cavtat! Bus was very close to road.
Cavtat
The location was perfect...although in the centre of town it felt very secluded and quiet. It was also the ideal location for almost all of the beaches in cavtat. The apartment was modern, clean and comfortable. The small kitchen area provided us with all we needed to prepare and eat for four.
Beautiful modern apartment with amazing views of Cavtat. Victoria is a fabulous host with lots of tips for best beaches and restaurants. The apartment is within 5 minutes walk of the promenade. I would highly recommend this apartment and will most definitely book again soon.
Cavtat
The best views of Cavtat from our studio balcony. Our 3rd time in Croatia and this was the best location, best apartment, best value for money. Will definitely return. Maro the host and his family are great guys. Hope to sit ,have a beer and talk fishing when we return.
Cavtat
The property was perfect - extremely clean, spacious and had all the amenities necessary. the location is absolutely perfect, only a 5 minute walk from the main town and all the beaches. The air con was the best we had in Croatia and we wish we stayed longer!
Lovely, accommodating staff, comfortable rooms and an excellent pool with a great bar. Breakfast was wonderful too. The hotel provided us with anything we might have needed or forgot; beach towels for example. Probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in!
fantastic refurbished boutique hotel in the heart of Cavtat, superb finish throughout, rooms and pool are excellent and the staff very attentive. Breakfast and food in general are of very high standard. The best hotel in Cavtat.
Cavtat
Such a beautiful and spacious apartment, and in an ideal location to access some of Cavtat’s quieter beaches and coves. And best of all, the hosts are the most lovely people! Thank you!
Hotel Croatia is in a stunning location our room literally looked out to sea. The bay at Cavtat is just stunning and you can walk to all the restaurants & bars in 5 minutes.
Cavtat
Good location (a 2-minute walk to the town of Cavtat and a 10-minute drive to the Dubrovnik airport), beautiful flowering trees on the property, and a friendly helpful host.
