Water taxi to Dubrovnik was nice (but the last boat came back already at 18:30, probably because the holiday season hasn't started yet), from the boat we saw some great views to the coastline and Dubrovnik. There were construction works going on on the promenade by the sea in Cavtat.
Cavtat is a lovely pretty place & well worth the visit & stay. I would say its elegant & cultured with it's beautiful white buildings. Zal beach is lovely though small. It is a bit hilly in places so some may find walking more difficult depending on where you are staying. Not a problem for me but for some it would be. The area is lovely with nice little walks around the area & a good selection of restaurants. Not lots of shops but plenty of ice cream places. Close to the airport which is handy & it was easy to get the local bus to Dubrovnik which is worth a visit. We also got the same bus & got off early to look round Mlini & Srebrano. Both pretty little places. We got the ferry back. You can also get the ferry to Dubrovnik. The downside was that all the places had ashtrays & if people were smoking, it was very unpleasant & not what we are used to these days even outside. There are lots of trips available to book to Montenegro etc. Most places take card though there are lots of ATMs. We got a taxi from the airport which was 20 euros.
The town is nice. But the prices in restaurants and other facilities are too high and have been increased too much respect to the past. There are other countries offering equal or more for less money and same or better quality.
I loved the scenery, walks, food and slower pace. Super yachts can be seen at the dock which is also quite impressive. Generally a lovely place for a break. Dubrovnik was too busy for me, too many people, it seemed like a tourist trap these days which is unfortunate as it is an impressive city.
The place is so calm and serene. You have a handful of options in terms of food but also activities. The beaches have crystal waters and the entire area is clean and tidy, from public roads to private ones. The only downside is that the city shuts down 11pm to 12am strictly so not an option to have a wild night out
A lovely coastal resort in a beautiful setting. It felt very safe and is relatively quiet. While fairly small, there is a very good range of restaurants, bars and cafes, most located along the very pretty harbour. Not really very good for a shopping experience.
Our stay at Hotel Seventh was a perfect way to end our trip. The staff are all so welcoming and helpful with any recommendations of where to eat or what to do in Cavtat. The rooms were spacious, clean, and the balcony views are incredible, watching the sunset was so special. The pool is a great size and plenty of room for everyone to sit around, the cocktails are great too! Breakfast was lovely, it’s like having homemade food and all was so tasty. I can’t rate this hotel enough! Would love to stay here again, we had the best time.
Cavtat
1. Exceptionally friendly hosts - lovely old couple, always smiling. 2. The room (ground-floor) is quite big, 3-4 persons, own kitchen with table/chairs, bathroom, back deck to dry beach towels/swimsuits. 3. The front deck is perfect - with a table and benches to sit and relax, even during hot days, as there is a shadow provided by green cover-roof full of leaves and kiwi fruits. 4. The appartment is close (400m) to the best beach "Żal" and to the Cavtat center and konobas/restaurants.
Cavtat
We absolutely loved our stay here. It's great value for the money, it's the best location- close to the city centre and stores, there are great beaches just a few minutes of walk from the apartment, restaurants, everything you need. It was also quiet. We had a large balcony and loved our view from there. The host was amazing. Jaksa was so friendly and helpful. This was not our first time in Cavtat, but it was our first time in Apartments Garden Beach and we will definitely come back here.
Cavtat
The facilities at Villa Lukas are by far the best we have experienced on our europe travelling trip. The pool, jacuzzi, gym and sauna are extremely well kept! The apartment common spaces have lots of personal touches, a small book library and a shared kitchen with a artist gallery and small jewellery shop next to. We have felt at home at Villa Lukas for our first trip to Croatia we could not recommend enough!
Cavtat
Anuska was the best host I've ever met. Her hospitality was far and above the normal. She was there upon check in, upon check out, she offered us a ride into town twice and even offered to drive us to our next accommodation upon check out! Catvat and her place was our first day upon arrival in Croatia and she really made our first day and night so memorable. Thank you!
Cavtat
We needed a place to crash near the airport for a very early morning flight and booked a Bacan apartment on short notice. We arrived late at night and our host still met/greeted us with keys and pertinent info. It was just what we needed - a nice clean place to stay. We were surprised by the best beds we'd slept in during our Croatia trip!

Everything is close by supermarkets, bakery, beach, shops and restaurants. We really loved our stay in Tiffany apartments and we would sincerely recommend this place. Apartments are completely new, very well arranged with beautiful and luxury materials and very clean. I am really fully satisfied and I would say that it is a little paradise
Cavtat
Accommodation was really good, clean apartment with apartment service - this was something new for us in Croatia, usually apartment services are only in hotels, so we was positively surprised. Good quality A/C with sensors on windows - A/C automatically turns off if the window is openned.

The room was very clean and the terrace looks really nice. Perfect stay for our one night spent in Cavtat. The price for this place is very convenient. The host was very nice and friendly, she explained us what we needed to know about some places in Croatia.
The proximity to the airport was so convenient. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and plentiful. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The town of Cavtat was changing and the hotel was right in the center of all of the beauty.
Everything was great! The apartment is spacious, very clean and has all the amenities one can ever need! The location is perfect, few minutes walk from the best beach in Cavtat, and also from promenade and centre. We would love to come back!
