The rooms were clean and comfortable with a lovely balcony. The area is a lovely, short walk away from the Cavtat old town and the sea. The walk is fairly steep so someone with poor knees might need to keep that in mind. Friendly staff and a save neighbourhood.

A very lovely picturesque town! It was very calm and peaceful! A lot of different places to enjoy the sea, beautiful views, yachts! The best restaurant was Conoba Cavtat! I would recommend this place! We liked Cavtat more than crowded Dubrovnik! There is a shop Studenac near the beach, many cafes and restaurants. So everything you may need is close! You have 2 options to get to Dubrovnik: by the sea on the boat (20 euros round trip) or by bus (8 euros round trip)!

Idyllic bay within two little capes, which you can walk over by foot enjoying the little historical town and beautiful landscapes. Lots of swimming places built on the rocky beaches. Swimming is possible on beaches but also in the harbour and on swimming stadion. Many restaurants to choose. Restaurants are open from morning to late evening, so you can take full breakfast, light lunch and delicious dinner. Some parking problems are usual, but distances are short. Most of the appartments are located uphill, so walking there demands good physical condition.

I highly recommend Cavtat!
I highly recommend Cavtat! It is a lovely little village, much quieter and also more affordable than Dubrovnik. There are plenty of restaurants, but they don't offer any major culinary experiences. With a rental car, the journey to the Dubrovnik airport takes only fifteen minutes.

A number of beaches to choose from, all rocky, but all had sun loungers to rent €7-10. There are also activities to do like jet-skiing, paragliding and pedal boats. Restaurants are good with lots to choose from and a few local historical houses and music. As with all of this area, you need to be prepared to keep fit - steps an hills are unavoidable. There is parking, €4 an hour, but you can park a 5 minute walk from the beach and avoid the parking fees.

A calm , relaxed place to be.
A calm , relaxed place to be. There are vendors for boat & bus trips on the harbour, the bus is the far cheaper, but less scenic way to get to Dubrovnik though. It’s ok to walk into Dubrovnik from the cable car stop, but get on the retiring bus at the terminus.
It’s decent tourist fare @ the restaurants, the bakery is good & there are a couple of convenience stores & a pharmacy as well as tourist information at the bus terminus.
Watch out for prices on things, I got the feeling that they might be taking advantage of a tourist on a few occasions, but mostly the Croats were lovely, if a bit abrupt at first. They do fabulous ice creams though.

We loved Cavtat.
We loved Cavtat. It was near enough to Dubrovnik and the ferry was a great way to get there. You could also get a bus which was cheaper. Cavtat had such a variety, sea views of the bay, harbour and an inlet with mountains in the back ground. Loads of places to eat and drink. A bit expensive but everywhere we go in Europe is now but we did read that prices near Dubrovnik have gone up. Very hilly so bring trainers.
Really impressed with the hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The facilities suited our needs perfectly. Using the gym on a daily basis was gear and it would seem it has just been fitted out with new techno gym kit. Love both the indoor and outdoor pool perfect water temperature at this time of year (July). The hotels position on the side of cliff with 2 beaches either side was great. Customer service fantastic. Cavtat town is a lovely place to visit on an evening. Would definitely like to return, which we rarely do.
Rooms and hotel super clean and comfortable. Staff very attentive and helpful. Small hotel and made to feel very welcome. Right near restaurant and easy access for boats and busses to Debrovnik. Whilst Cavtat is small and not loads going on, this was just my opinion as I like to keep active. Great walks on the door steps with scenery out of this world.
Quality was good and catered for various diet types. Enough lounges for sun-bathing, 3 pools and a beach with crystal clear water and warm - whats not to love! Excellent restaurants at Cavtat only 12min walk and water taxi to Dubrovnik a must. Hotel only a 10min drive from airport. We will return.
Beautiful accommodation, outdoor patio area a definite plus, very attentive hosts, great location Cavtat was a lovely relaxing town, very clean and the sea was wonderful for swimming. It was our first visit to Croatia looking forward to our next visit
Outstanding apartment and balcony looking over Cavtat. Mato was very helpful and such a gentleman. Apartment was spotless. Would definitely return. Looks exactly like the photos. Very short walk to the beach, bars and restaurants. 5 stars!
