We absolutely LOVED the waterfront location. The lounges on the waterfront with stairs & rails to access the ocean was wonderful. In fact we will be back after Croatia. That’s how much we loved it. Our room was a twin superior with sea view so the view was amazing night and day. Actually breathtaking. Our beds were comfortable and a second bathroom /loungeroom with Nespresso machine was perfect for us. ( 2 people) 2 tvs and 2 air conditioners. Just perfect. Staff were fantastic and friendly . Parking across the road was easy or underneath. Breakfast was good, not amazing but good. A local recommended the pub down the road for dinner. Very good. Pizza is 10/10 . We are Melbourne foodies so take note 🥰

The spread was impressively varied, with something to satisfy every palate. What truly elevated the experience was enjoying this feast while being caressed by the gentle breeze off the Adriatic Sea. Sipping my coffee with the sea as my backdrop was nothing short of magical. Convenience was another aspect that stood out. Located within an easy 8-minute stroll from the hotel, there's a spacious supermarket that stays open late, making last-minute shopping or midnight snacks a breeze. Additionally, the street leading away from the hotel teems with vibrant restaurants, promising a culinary adventure with every step. For those considering a stay here, I have a few heartfelt recommendations: Opt for a Sea View Room: If possible, splurge on a sea view room – the vistas are absolutely breathtaking, and I personally regret not having made that choice myself. The panoramic windows framing the Adriatic's serenity will undoubtedly become the highlight of your stay. Pack Personal Hygiene Essentials: It's worth noting that the hotel does not provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, or slippers, so I suggest packing these essentials beforehand to ensure a seamless and comfortable experience. Overall, this hotel offers a unique blend of old-world charm and modern comforts, making it an ideal choice for travelers seeking a relaxing yet adventurous getaway. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable stay near the sea.

Small town with a wonderful little OldTown part.

Small town with a wonderful little OldTown part. I especially like that there is not too many tourists and that you can both enjoy the town beach just as the wild rocky beaches where you have more privacy! I would recommend Lovranski Pub and Delfino for GREAT meal! The walk road by the see - LungoMare give you a huge pleasure by the sea from Lovran to Volosko! The sea is clean and wonderful.

Lovran is an amazing place, place of historical and natural...

Lovran is an amazing place, place of historical and natural abundance. The only problem are the roads and basic infrastructure after beautiful promenade in Opatija and Lovran. The cars are driving like there is MonteCarlo, without any consequences or fines, and as a walker going to the beach, you are not considered. Simply, there is no basic traffic lights, sidewalks and you can easily get killed there if not careful enough when passing the main street. This is a problem of the state regulations, but hotel guests are in danger, especially children.

Well cared for, seafront although lacking sandy beach is well equipped in terms of terraces and steps leading into the sea with handrails to provide assistance. Also well positioned for visiting other locations. We. Visited Rijeka and the island of Krk.

Just as foretold, a bit smaller, a bit less fancy version of Abbazia / Opatija. The sea is the same :-) Also vey nice villas and apartments, the Lungo Mare is stretching all the way till here. Good food. Old Town is really old and authentic. Depressingly narrow streets, pedestrians only.

Very beautiful, spacious, modern and fully equipped apartment offering a breathtaking view of the Kvarner Bay. Clean and quiet pool area. Very friendly and helpful hosts, Loreta and her dad were always available when needed and provided us with useful advice. Free parking, WiFi worked well. Lovran and other beaches of the Opatja Riviera are 10-15 min by car, also supermarkets are only 5-10min by car.

Breakfast was well catered by friendly staff, who helpfully worked the otherwise tricky coffee machine. Second day’s food included fresh fruit salad. The position was good, perhaps 3/4 mile from centre of Louvran, a charming town on this atmospheric coast. It was helpful to be able to park at the hotel.

We really liked everything about Lovran Hotel, especially, we enjoyed great and tasty food with variety of meals either for breakfasts, or for dinners. The staff was very nice and helpful. Air-conditioning worked perfectly in hot days.
