What a wonderful stay. This place is peaceful, beautiful, and truly comfortable. The apartment was super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to fully enjoy our time on the island. The hosts were absolutely amazing — kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful. They gave us great tips and recommendations that made our experience even more special. Honestly, they made our stay on the island far more wonderful and fun than we could have imagined. We are truly grateful for all their help and hospitality. We completely recommend this place if you want to enjoy the full island experience: staying in a beautiful apartment with an incredible view and waking up every morning to a spectacular landscape. And one more recommendation: don’t miss the kayaking tour they suggest at the apartment. Exploring the caves and secret beaches around the island was unforgettable and absolutely a must-do!

An amazing place! Very nice location (close to Veli Rat and Sakarun beach). Picturesque view. Very friendly and helpful staff, nice facilities. We stayed a bit out of the high season (June 2nd) and it was very calm and quiet. We had a nice time!

We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed our time here. The apartments exceeded our expectations. For this price, everything we needed was provided. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Everything was clean, fresh, and carefully looked after. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Their hospitality made us feel at home from the very first day. One of the biggest advantages is the excellent location. There is convenient parking directly in front of the apartments, and the seaside promenade and beach are just a few steps away. It is also very easy to reach all parts of the island from here. Another great bonus is that the owners have their own restaurant in the same building, serving delicious grilled dishes and fresh fish. We enjoyed several meals there, and everything was fresh, tasty, and perfectly prepared. We were also pleasantly surprised that free kayaks were available for guests. We could use them all day long at no extra cost, which made our stay even more enjoyable and gave us a fantastic opportunity to explore the beautiful coastline from the sea. Overall, this was one of the best places we have stayed. The combination of a perfect location, comfortable apartments, wonderful hosts, and excellent amenities made our vacation truly special. We loved everything and are already looking forward to coming back again in September. Highly recommended!

A small village slightly descending to the harbor.

A small village slightly descending to the harbor. It has 2 restaurants - Gorgonia and Branco and one small grocery. In near proximity there is a nice small camping Madarino also with a good restaurant. The location of Verunić is good for exploring the northern tip of the Dugi Otok island. All the sea around this village is rather sheltered from the outer ocean so it is coinvenient for swimming and paddleboarding. All interesting sites (Sakarun beach, the lighthouse...) are within few kilometers by car or bicycle and you need not to conquer steep slopes. Of course, to get there you need to take a ferry Zadar (Gaženica) - Brbinj (approx. 1.5hrs) and then drive some 15km North. So this is extra cost/time to the trip and you need to adjust to the timetable. In high season it might be practical to pre-book the ferry at jadrolinia.hr.
