The house is in a quiet, beautiful village. There is a lot of space, equipment is brand new and you have everything you need. Everything was fresh and clean. We really enjoyed the private terrace upstairs. The owner was really nice and helpful. We walked down the steep hill to the closest beach, it takes around 30 minutes from the house but it is worth it. It's a short drive to the town Cres or Valun where you can find restaurants and beaches.

The view is simply the best, from the terrace and bedroom, was fantastic to wake up seeing the sea! The location is awesome, just 5min going downstairs to the beach, there’s also a market and a konoba (restaurant), and more around in a small village that is touristy but has a picturesque charm. Walking 30min there’s a bigger village, Martiniscica, lively and visited with a bigger supermarket for example. The house (apartment) is spacious, cozy -maybe a bit vintage 80s style-, and although simple, it has everything we needed and could have asked for, in the kitchen and bathroom. The terrace has neighbors as other reviews pointed out, but who lives like a hermit? We still felt privacy, with the plants you can’t even see the other flat;) We had breakfast and a glass of wine at the sunset in the lovely terrace. We never had problems parking, in the evening is more packed but there was always a spot in the streets around, unless you’re too lazy to look a little bit. We stayed 10 amazing days in the apartment and would come again! Plus the host, Karin, was reachable where we needed assistance, thanks so much!

We booked Biba apartment without knowing anything about Lubenice and surroundings. In the end, we spent the most magical 3,5 days, thanks to the apartment and the village Lubenice. Large, cozy apartment which has absolutely one may need for a long stay. One night here is definitely not enough. Take your time to explore the village, talk with the wonderful hosts who have such a sweet shop, visit the museum of the dying tradition of Cres, take hike to Sv. Ivan or Grota beaches, find sheeps on the rocks nearby. Every morning we woke up with the sunrise shining in our windows and having coffee at the terrace which overlooks the vast green valleys, feeling as if we are the only people around. Lubenice and Biba apartment made us feel home and we decided to surely come back some time in the future! About the practical stuff: 1) All windows have nets and we could sleep with open windows and breathing fresh night air 2) There's always place at the wide parking about 100m away 3) WiFi is working very well 4) If you want to wash the clothes, better to dry them before the noon because afterwards the sun will be on the other side of the home 5) Book longer stays! 1-2 days is not enough!
