The room was clean and quiet, well air conditioned. Pets are allowed. I was traveling with my cat and he felt at home. I couldn't try breakfast because we had to leave early in the morning.

It is a good place to stop for a day or two at most. The main square has some unique and attractive art nouveau architecture. There are a couple of excellent restaurants (Bagatel) and pastry shops (Fodor cukraszda). A day and a half are more than enough to see what the town has to offer. The one of a kind Cifra palota has an exhibit worth seeing, and the park in the centre of the town has pleasant gardens. The Four Points Sheraton Hotel is an excellent place to stay.

A really small city between Budapest and Szeged. The old town worth a visit, and there is an ice-cream parlor next to the train station which I highly recommend. A day in Kecskemét is enough to see everything in the city.

Kecskemét Is a small cozy city with good food and relaxed atmosphere. The city center has an old cathedral and is pretty lively, at least on Saturdays, up to late evening. I also recommend the restaurant Kisbugaci Étterem, which serves traditional Hungarian food. If it is on your way it’s worth visiting.

We found Central Motel on Booking.com, and were very happy with our find. The owner was very friendly and came asap to welcome us at his property. Central Motel offers a large room with comfortable bed, TV, wifi and shower. Central Motel is just as the name says: very Central, just a stone throw away from Kecskemét's city center; and a Motel offering parking for motorists just next to the property.
