The apartments are brand new, very nicely furnished and also very well equipped. The aircon worked extremely well and everything was super clean. Also renting a scooter was no problem at all. We‘ve had a scoopy for a fair price. We‘ve met the owner of the apartment and he was very friendly and always willing to help us out with everything that we needed. What we really loved was the included breakfast at food and friends, a little local run place right next door :) I can definitely recommend staing at Jepun Hill Studios!

It was a beautiful, peaceful place with lots of character and charm. Right by the beach and staff amazing. From the start everyone made our stay fantastic, going out of there way to make us extra comfortable. The food was delicious and pool a nice option after the beach. We even got a complementary massage due to the construction site, which was awesome.

Staff is amazing nice, smiling, listen to the needs. They could change us the room because we didn't wanted any music from the bar. The location is the best. Turtles spot right in the front ! The buffet breakfast is full. You can find everything you like.

We went in the low season.

We went in the low season. Though it rained a few times, we loved the peacefulness of the area. Perfect for snorkeling and relaxing. I visited Ubud and Uluwatu at the end of my trip and was blown away by how busy it was, (particularly Ubud). I wish I had stayed in Amed longer, but we wanted to be closer to the airport.

Amed is low key and a bit ramshackle.

Amed is low key and a bit ramshackle. I liked it for those reasons. Background of dramatic mountains. Vibe is completely different to other parts of Bali. It’s not a party location and there is no glossy posse.

Amed is such a peaceful location perfect for people wanting to enjoy scuba, snorkeling, massage, nice food and beautiful scenery. It was very affordable, and you could do as little or as much as you wanted in terms of activities.

Amed is essentailly frequented by the diving community due to the many outstanding dive locations in the immediate vicinity, and there are numerous restaurants (Warungs) which are very reasonably priced. Easy to explore the local area by hiring a scooter.

Loved Amed but was only there for 2 nights, would definately...

Loved Amed but was only there for 2 nights, would definately go back for longer. Beautiful people and amazing local food. Great spot if you dont want the hussle and bussle of Kuta/Seminyak or Legian. The black beach was gorgeous and the sunsets were amazing, Great place for divers/snorkelling and fishing.

Amed was lovely, found some great eating places that were really reasonable. Gusto, Galangal, Warranga Amed with live music and fabulous hosts, Sunset view restaurant )the lower key more traditional one) the other Sunset view was too upmarket and commercialised. We loved riding around on the scooters and felt it was quiet enough to feel safe. Really enjoyed getting up into the hills from there to see the rural lifestyles.

Exceeded our expectations. Very clean and spacious room (felt like luxury accommodation), beautiful views from the little terrace out front. Location was superb, could walk to many other places from the hotel, via the beach or the sidewalk. The options from the included breakfast were a very welcome surprise, and the rooftop bar a fab place to see the sunset from (great cocktails too, the best mojito I had in Bali). The pool was always clean, and the beach, with its amazing clear water, just a few steps away. Would totally come back again.

This accommodation is exceptional for its location by the beach. After a few meters of swimming, you immediately see corals and many fish, turtles, and ninja shrimp under the water. You can snorkel all day and still see something new. The staff is very accommodating, friendly. The breakfasts are excellent. Beautiful clean pool. Beautiful tropical garden. The resort is small, but perfectly adequate. The journey from the hotel to Dempasar was also excellent. We had a stop at the rice fields. Beautiful Balinese nature in the rainy season.

Amazing Spa right across the road, Laundry right across the road, my fav restaurant in whole of Bali is 5min away - Gutso 😋. We enjoyed our stay in Sinar Bali 2. Clean room that have all you need. For the price you pay, the value for the money is very good. My favorite part was the lovely owners who helped us with everything we need and provided us everything we wished. I would highly recommend staying with them! If you rent a scooter, then the location is nice for staying in between Amed beach and Lipah beach.

It was a wonderful place right by the ocean. But the best thing was the incredible warmly welcoming and helpful family running this beautiful home stay. They arranged the best snorkeling trip and a really great trip around Amed and they helped us with all we would and could need. They also served a great breakfast! I will definitely stay at this place again if we come back to Bali!!
