The hosts Nao and Walde made our stay very memorable. The cottage is beautifully decorated, it’s a private jungle setting with lovely views over the valley. We enjoyed the outdoor bathroom which was very special. Walde is an excellent chef and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast on the wooden deck and a yummy dinner in our room. It’s a quiet and peaceful setting and we wish we could have stayed longer.

During my entire holiday, this was my favorite stay. Upon my arrival I was met by the friendly Jimmy who offered me a welcoming drink and showed me my room. You have a perfect view of the beautiful Mount Inerie while you eat your amazing breakfast, with live music in the background and good people to keep you company. Remember to drink some Dr. Arak, their local drink. Plus the staff will help you arrange transport to Mt. Inerie to go for the BEST sunrise hike in your life! Jimmy was always there to help me with transport to wherever I needed to be, even on the day before Christmas. I've never met people as good as the people in Flores, and the staff at Manulalu proved this sentiment through and through. Would 100% recommend! Please do yourself a favor and spend a few nights here.
