Fresh air, rice terraces, Balinese people are very friendly and courteous. Nature, vegatation, forest.. waterfalls and temples. My husband and I stayed at Aksari Ubud Resort & Spa … this place is my personal version of paradise. Staff were very cordial… they aim to please … the resort has great amenities and awesome infinity pools. The entire place has wifi, room has smart TV with Netflix, the resort is clean and very well maintained and smells like aromatherapy (spa) with “zen” music..,

Its got some lovely attractions and sights. Its peaceful and quiet without being too remote. Spending time amongst the people here gives you a sense of what life in Bali is really like and not just what they put on for tourists.

Last time I came to Bali, I only stayed in Ubud. Tegalalang is only a short trip away, but it is so peaceful and absolutely beautiful. Waterfalls, rice paddies, jungle, friendly locals and you really can experience Bali here. I have never felt more grateful, free and alive. Make sure to rent a moped to get the most out of it!

Far away enough from the city centre to be tranquil and relaxed with plenty of local activities such as the rice terrace and swings, close proximity to temples, waterfalls and volcano without the hustle and bustle of the centre.

It’s a beautiful little location close to the rice terrace. Comfortable and clean. Friendly and helpful owners. I asked for a kettle for my morning coffee and got one. Instead of a tv I’d have just put a kettle and fridge in their instead and somewhere to hang your towels in the bathroom. Just a little more attention to detail and this place could be much better and probably be able to charge more. Nothing was a big issue though and was very happy with my stay.

Beautiful chalets, very big & clean. Large verandaha to relax & take in the totally awesome views of rice fields all around. A very magical & spiritual place for sure. Great friendly staff . Balinese cooking class was good fun. Great location if you just want to relax & get away from it all as not near Ubud centre. A 30 min Gojek ride into town cost 150k idr each way in a car, bike is cheaper but as travelling in group of 3 was same price.

Suarapura located in a secluded area of Sebatu Village. It's the place to escape from the outside world. The sorrounding nature will make you feel peace. The view from the room is amazing. It's a nature show. You can see the valley, jungle, & rice terraces as a background. At the same time, the birds flies and others animals making noise. Try to enjoy it with a cup of coffee to make you feel relax. Rccomended hotel at Tegallalang area.

very atmospheric and cute place! the owners were very kind and attentive) peace and tranquility, very clean! Of course, there are sounds of geckos here (as in the 5 villas where I stayed before) and this is normal for Bali! people who complain about geckos apparently don’t understand where they have come, this is an island and the wildlife is part of it) I will definitely return to this place again!

The property was very well located - 15 mins away from the main Ubud Market with a free shuttle to get you there. You could enjoy the calm and serenity of the property, all while basking in the hustle and bustle of the Ubud Palace. The staff was really kind and accommodated all our requests. We really enjoyed the pool in our villas and made the most of it! Don't miss the pancakes at breakfast!

The resort's attention to detail is impeccable, from the elegant architecture seamlessly integrated into the landscape to the warm and attentive staff who made me feel right at home. The villas are exquisitely designed, combining traditional Balinese charm with modern comforts. I especially enjoyed waking up to the sound of birdsong and the gentle rustle of leaves outside my window.

I chose this hotel because of the infinity pool and the jungle - this as good as it looks in photos, perhaps even better! The service and food were wonderful and those views…we stayed 3 nights - hotel has free cycles and afternoon tea - delicious! The place is peaceful and this is another reason we booked GK Bali. 3 nights wasn’t enough - what a beautiful place!

it is a quiet boutique resort and unique on its own way if you want to enjoy the calm and to disconnect from the busy Ubud touristic side, also at 4min walk you can visit the most beautiful temple Pura Gunung Kawi Sebatu which you barely see tourists there and mainly locals, the staff are the best and always making feel welcomed.

Hotel was just amazing. Spa was just magical, food for breakfast and dinner was excellent. Generally it exceeded our expectation. For every our need crew of the hotel was reacting very fast. Especially Reno. If I knew what how good is this hotel I would cancel all other bookings in Bali and just stay with them.

I loved our time here. The place is gorgeous and great value for money and the staff were excellent. The hotel manager, Made (I hope I spelt that correctly) was particularly helpful and went out of his way to help us with whatever we needed. Thank you to everyone at Villa Cendrawasih Ubud 🙏🙏🙏

A small hotel with lots of character. A lot of thought put in to all the extra things in the room. The most comfortable bed I have slept in for the 3 weeks I was in Bali. The most room facilitues too. A restaurant next door with amazing food and huge range to choose from.

This was by far our favorite stay in all of Bali. Beautiful and comfortable villas in the most gorgeous setting. We easily could have spent another two weeks here - one for doing all the tours and exploring, and one just for relaxing at the stunning infinity pool.
