The location is great, far from the noisy city centre but also it is easily accessible within less than 10mins by scooter if one would go out. Breakfast and food in their own resturant is very rich and tasty, the stuff is super nice and very helpful. They have massage opportunity where they provide balinese massage - very relaxing on a fair price. The rooms, pool and everything in general is very clean and we could use the laundry services as well . Also great about this place is that they provide free mineral water refill option and they also make ice from mineral water so we didnt have to worry about that either.

Would I come back again? Yes! 1. the breakfast are so good! I wished I had stayed for 1 more night so we could have tried more of the menu. We didn't have our meals at the restaurant other than our cooking class which the hotel helped to arrange. 2. the room is clean and relatively free of mosquitoes and other bugs. I am a mosquito magnet so I am very grateful for this. They did provide an electric mosquito repellent in the room but we didn't use as I brought along my essential oil diffuse (citronella!) for this very purpose. 3. The beds and pillows are comfortable. 4. Location is great! Near to the Sacred Monkey Forest, shops, minimarts, and restaurants. Of the lot, I love a) L'Osteria Pizza e Cucina Ubud (no local food but it's good food and service!) and b) Bebek Bengil Ubud. Lots of spas/ massages places around too, great for after all the walking. 5. The staff. The staff are excellent and friendly.

The overall stay was very pleasant. The room was spacious with a beautiful forest view. When you arrive, it doesn't look like the hotel would be so much in the greenery as it's quite central but it really is surrounded by jungle. Waking up to the sounds and colours of the forest was amazing. Great onset bath in the bathroom. The pool area was amazing, food was very good as well. Good coffee as a big bonus as well as the staff with a constant smile on :)

this place is just breathtaking. we stayed for few nights and what can I say, unbelievable. we've been welcomed by a refreshing drink while doing the check in. and then the view you have from the infinity pool it's just like being in paradise. the room are amazing, spacious and fresh, with a bathtub that was already filled with water covered by fresh flowers to welcome us in this slice of paradise. breakfast is very very good with fresh fruits and bowls, served on a wonderful terrace where you can admire the rising sun from the jungle.

LOVE AT THE FIRST SIGHT. Took me a while to choose the perfect hotel in Ubud and Maya Ubud is exceeding my expectations in everypart. Location is amazing (near ubud city centre but still quiet and remote at the same time). Service from the staff is aboye and beyond. We got upgraded to a jacuzzi villa as well which made the stay extra special. The hotel is well maintained. Bed is super comfortable. Breakfast is amazing. I wish we stayed a few days longer. The Kid’s club is also super nice! Many activities provided by the hotel.

First of all, from the moment you enter the door, everyone is very friendly and polite. The rooms and everywhere in the hotel are very clean. More beautiful than what we see in the photos. Although you are in the forest, we never saw any insects and flies. The staff's attention and service is very high. We came for our honeymoon and were very pleased. Ubud is very close to the center, there are many cafes, restaurants and markets that continue walking.

Ubud is great if you enjoy shopping of all types, restaurants, cafes, warungs, yoga, vegan food, and general people watching. It is a happening place but not overwhelming. If you want to get away, there are lots of waterfalls to explore nearby, and the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary is a fun place to spend half a day.

The place and surroundings are exactly what I expected and sometime exceeded my expectations, magical place that captivates you and you feel like never leave the place. All the activities are relatively nearby like rafting, swings, quad-biking in the forest and above all, my favourites are waterfalls.

We attended a wedding at a large resort near by. We were able to walk between the two along the beach or on a path, making it the perfect place to enjoy the wedding and be with friends and have our own quiet villa to enjoy!

It is remote location with not much accessibility to shopping, restaurants, and other activities. Recommended for people who prefer calm and quiet area and has vehicle for commutation. No spas available nearby, need to go to Ubud center.

It's a lovely area much quieter than Ubud but still lots of cafes etc. The Instagrammers taking selfies is a bit over the top...but they're everywhere. Great views of the rice terraces and beautiful waterfalls and temples in the area.

The beautiful areas of Sukawati require a car/driver. We went to the art market which was nice, but you could get this art anywhere in Bali for the same price. I hadn't been before and wouldn't stay here again, it's a bit 'commercial' and not tailored to tourists. The villas we stayed in were beautiful, quiet and off the main street, but there was nothing to do (other than get a driver).

Beautiful sea view, near to sanur, denpasar, and ubud, but beach has plastic and wooden trash. During rainy season, moths come out every where outside and inside villa. Kitchen is separate from the villa, overall, villa needs upgrade.

Ubud is a great base from which to enjoy Bali.

Ubud is a great base from which to enjoy Bali. Ubud itself has lots of restaurants, bars and shops. The monkey forest, puri art museum and Ubud palace are well worth a visit. A day trip to the waterfalls is a must. The local people are friendly and helpful. It feels very safe.

Near to Ubud and yet completely out of the city hustle.

Near to Ubud and yet completely out of the city hustle. Stay inside Lots of nature, rain forests and rice fields and see the local countryside with daily ceremonies around the temples and witness bali life.
