The hotel itself is really beautiful, staff is extremely friendly! What surprised me the most, I didn't see ANY spider during our 1 week stay there, it was surprising. I hate these creatures, so that was amazing for me :D Very friendly, helpful people working there, amazing breakfast a'la carte, freshly made just for you. Really spacious room (we had villa with private pool), there was everything you'll ever need. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, you can enjoy your stay in this place!

Staff,Staff,Staff! Loved the staff! Emi & Buddy were the two that their cuteness was melting my heart on daily basis.. Staff in the place is absolutlety next level.. Everybody is so nice and welcoming... I loved the interior,the layout of the hotel. The Spa was unreal as well. Rooms was clean, and so is the common pool area.

This was our second stay at The Kayon Resort, and it was just as incredible — if not better — than the first! You feel truly pampered at this resort. The staff are warm, attentive, and always eager to assist with any questions or requests. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, which is especially important to me due to a back injury. The resort is kept clean, and the thoughtful turndown service each evening is such a lovely touch — returning to a softly lit room with drawn curtains and a lovely fragrance after a long day is pure bliss. I definitely recommend using the resort’s private driver service. We booked a full-day tour, plus transfers to the ferry terminal and airport, and it was seamless especially after the flooding. Our driver, Karta, was not only professional and friendly but also shared fascinating insights into Balinese culture throughout our trip. The van was spacious and comfortable, and we were always greeted with cold towels and bottled water after each outing — a small but much-appreciated luxury. The tours are fairly priced and can be completely customized to your interests and pace, which made the experience more enjoyable. I sincerely hope this wasn’t my last visit to this wonderful resort — I’m already looking forward to returning!

Everything was excellent - service, the workers, the room, facilities. Beautiful natural springs. Beautiful design of the whole property overall - all outside and natural which is a different experience. Worth the money. Breakfast was great (included with the stay and decent selection. I had the Bubur/porridge). The juice selections were great. I personally like that they provide bathrobe in our rooms, we wore it during our morning walk. the Bathroom was outside (open space). The tab water is filtered and drinkable. They provide free local beer, kombucha, local snacks in our rooms. We stayed at Olera and Orin house - just be aware that there is no soundproof between first and second floor, however, with the AC on, the white noise blocked most quite noises, except if something is dropped on the floor and when my friends walked around which is completely normal. Just for awareness, due the location being outside, there will be mosquitoes but that's just how it is with open concept property. Again we're here for the nature/outside experience!

First of all the staff: service at the Kayon was by far the best in all of our Bali trip, which is a lot to say since usually service in Bali is amazing. Windy our Buttler made us a couple of surprises when she found out we were celebrating our honeymoon and also she and Hendrick always helped us arrange everything we needed (reservations for dinner, activities, floating breakfast, scooter rental, etc etc). The main 3 infinity pools were amazing and everything we expected. Happy our from 11 to 3 was also great, since the cocktails were REALLY good! Our villa was super confortable, with an amazing infinity pool (stayed at the Valley Villas with private pool). Great Mie Goreng! All the staff was super nice. They helped you with the pictures with great patience..!!

We give a 10 for the overall experience. There were though issues which you can read bellow. We stayed 4 nights in a suite and the time we spend there was just great. We could find everything we needed within the resort itself offering a good overall combination on comfort and quality. Outdoor pool with its surrounding vegetation was great, Kaveri massage was a highlight, breakfast was good and more than you can eat, and the food at the restaurant was reasonable. The shuttle to Ubud center which took only about 10 min was very convenient which we used a couple of times. The staff was highly helpful and friendly.

We have booked a double room and the view over the jungle is amazing, which can be enjoyed from the balcony or even shower. The staff is very kind and helped us with any request. The resort has a restaurant on site, where the guests can have lunch or dinner too. It is also possible to have yoga class or book day trips on different itineraries at the hotel directly. Lastly, the pool overlooks the jungle, being ideal for relaxation.

If you plan to be outside, not recommended to visit during...

If you plan to be outside, not recommended to visit during the month of November-January. Its the raining season there. Will be great if you can ride a bike to visit other places outside ubud. Otherwise, its all walking distance if you stay in the centre of ubud.

The place and surroundings are exactly what I expected and sometime exceeded my expectations, magical place that captivates you and you feel like never leave the place. All the activities are relatively nearby like rafting, swings, quad-biking in the forest and above all, my favourites are waterfalls.

It is remote location with not much accessibility to shopping, restaurants, and other activities. Recommended for people who prefer calm and quiet area and has vehicle for commutation. No spas available nearby, need to go to Ubud center.

Beautiful healing retreat to be one with yourself and nature. Healthy fresh produce . Did not get to do any Yoga but had a very good traditional massage . Room service and nothing was ever too much trouble.

We really enjoyed waking up each day in the midst of rice patties. Our home was clean and comfortable. You have to be ready though to being a little isolated so have a good driver or scooter rental to get you places from here.

The beautiful areas of Sukawati require a car/driver.

The beautiful areas of Sukawati require a car/driver. We went to the art market which was nice, but you could get this art anywhere in Bali for the same price. I hadn't been before and wouldn't stay here again, it's a bit 'commercial' and not tailored to tourists. The villas we stayed in were beautiful, quiet and off the main street, but there was nothing to do (other than get a driver).

Beautiful sea view, near to sanur, denpasar, and ubud, but beach has plastic and wooden trash. During rainy season, moths come out every where outside and inside villa. Kitchen is separate from the villa, overall, villa needs upgrade.

Ubud has something for everyone, great options for accommodation, great coffee, great restaurants and cafes. Access to rice fields and day trips, rafting silver jewellery making classes and lots of shops.

Near to Ubud and yet completely out of the city hustle.

Near to Ubud and yet completely out of the city hustle. Stay inside Lots of nature, rain forests and rice fields and see the local countryside with daily ceremonies around the temples and witness bali life.
