The many good views you can have over that hill (Narwastu hill) of Tomohon city and Lokon mountain. The gardens well maintained amd allow you to a small walk into some different path. The staff are very kind and are listening and careful to your different needs. The food from the restaurant is very great.

The hotel is a low-rise white building located among fields and with views of the surrounding mountains. The hotel's main attraction is the large pool which is a hot 'onsen' rather than a cool swimming pool and was a very comfortable refuge from the cool and rainy highland weather when we were there. The room, bathroom and breakfast were all satisfactory. The broad corridors and white decor create a spacious, well-ventilated feel.

Wawowow is a very special place. But it’s not for everyone. If you want to be away from city sounds and pollution, way out in the peace of the countryside among farms and mountain views — and if you are a person who enjoys the ruggedness of tent or A-frame cabin camping, then you will love Wawowow. Alvin has built this off-the-grid retreat himself, adding to it each year. He and his staff are caring and helpful. The well laid out grounds are covered in lawns and most if not all tents and cabins have small brick firepits. Alvin can provide the firewood for them. When I was there a number of people sat around these campfires at night singing and playing guitars. No sound amplification is allowed. Some people chose to stay on the grounds for several days. I used it as a jumping off place each morning to tour different parts of the Tomohon area each day., returning each evening.

The property is in the middle of nature with great views and a lovely common area where you can run into and socialize with other guests (if you like!). No place like this elsewhere in Tomohon and I feel it really adds value to the area. The hosts Arno and Anggi were so so lovely and so was the staff. Good communication, helpful and loved to chat with them. They really made me feel like home and actually makes me want to return to Tomohon. Tomohon’s Minahasa wetlands are a dream!
