Loved the staff, beautiful setting in Sayan amongst rice fields, the view, the walkable paths and the fact that pets are allowed. It's our 3rd time coming, so we definitely love the place! It's also just 10 min by motorbike to the City but feels like quiet green beautiful "Ubud". The garden is so well curated, so are the rooms! All very spacious.

We traveled with our 1 year old and the staff was absolutely amazing, very understanding and playful with our son! We really enjoyed our stay and also got to know the beautiful Balinese culture a bit better thanks to the explanations provided by the hotel employees as well as a visit to the unexpectedly big gallery within the hotel.

I liked the traditional wooden design of the house and it was nice to have your own space but not be completely alone. The garden and pool area are beautifully laid out and well maintained. It was convenient to have the restaurant nearby. Staff were very friendly and they provided bottled water every day. The room was kept clean and the bed was super comfortable. It was also good to have the air conditioning. My favorite thing was sitting on the veranda reading and enjoying the surrounding.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Kayuan Lumbur. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome; warm, attentive, and always going the extra mile. They also helped us arrange a scooter, super handy to go around town! The resort sits in a beautifully calm spot just off the road, surrounded by lush greenery, and yet it never felt remote or inconvenient. The pool was stunning and a perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and a lovely retreat to come back to every day. The food was so good we ended up eating there every single day. If you’re heading to Ubud and want somewhere peaceful, personal, and with genuinely great food and staff, don’t look any further. We’ll absolutely be back.

We spent great time at Uma Kalai, beautiful and quiet place with views of rice fields! What makes it exceptional is the team and hospitality. Special thanks goes to Mr Dicky & the team for taking care of us at the hotel, and Mr Rana, not only driving us safely around the island but telling us about history, life and religion of Bali. When we come again we will stay at Uma Kalai, and stay longer than four nights!
