I had a fantastic stay at the County Arms Hotel in Birr this April. The room was absolutely fabulous — spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The beds were large and incredibly comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. I really appreciated the attention to detail, from the lovely in-room coffee to the excellent breakfast that was delivered straight to the room — a real treat to start the day. Everything about the stay felt comfortable and relaxing. I’d definitely recommend the County Arms Hotel to anyone visiting the area, and I’d happily stay again.

The staff is wonderful! All are very nice and assist each other as needed. Excellent teamwork.

The host was amazing. She gave us great meal recommendations that were close by. The bathroom towels were more like sheets! They were fabulous! she also had the softest rug in our room. She has a buffet breakfast with cereals, fruits and yogurt. She also served a hot breakfast starting at 8am. unfortunately we had to get on the road by 7:30 so we didn’t have it. She was sweet enough to make us some tea and toast to go with our cereal and yogurt. The location is great-just far enough out of Birr to be relaxing and close enough to get to town quickly. Highly recommended!

Exceptional ! I have stayed in many places but this has to be up there with the very best. The hosts were so helpful, greeting us with a bottle of wine and having the place immaculate and stocked with bread, bacon, smoked salmon and beverages.
