Marguerite’s B&B is a family-run bed and breakfast in the County Donegal town of Glenties. Just 10 minutes from Narin beach and a local golf course, it offers free private parking and Wi-Fi access. It was located in a very nice town with great options to eat and play. Marguerite was an exceptional host — very present if needed, but not obtrusive. Beds were incredibly comfortable: breakfast was absolutely delicious with many options PLUS continental breakfast choices. The house is lovely and sparkling clean.
Brook Lodge has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Glenties, 10 miles from Narin & Portnoo Golf Club. The whole stay was perfect, Mary is a great host, both warm and professional, and the house seems out of a countryside painting. Amazing gluten free options for breakfast.

Featuring garden views, Bridge House has accommodations with a terrace and an electric tea pot, around 18 miles from Killybegs Maritime and Heritage Centre. Bridge house was like a little piece of heaven for us waking to the sounds of the lambs and the cuckoo. Annette the owner is kind helpful and friendly without being obtrusive and the attention to detail in the house is exceptional. We loved it and will be back.
The owners were polite helpful but not over intrusive but forfilled every thing expected in a well run b and b and we would stay again. The Station House was very clean, comfortable and cosy. The only thing that our host said she couldn't fix was the weather!
Location is just perfect to discover the beauties of Donegal county: all the touristic spots are on reach from the venue. The hosts are super nice and extremely welcoming: they make you feel comfortable in any possible way. I would definitely take the guest house in considerations for future trips in the north and recommend it to friends and family. simply amazing!
We found a lovely little coffee shop on the main street. Easy parking The food in the hotel was excellent. We had a super fish dish on our final evening. Close to a beautiful strand for long walks - Narin. This was my favourite part of the stay.

Glenties and the surrounding area are really beautiful. Our stay was very short (for sad reasons unfortunately), but based on what we have seen from Glenties and the area is beautiful, and a reason to come back for a nice holiday.
Glenties is a friendly and welcoming place. We really enjoyed visiting the craft and coffee shop on our first afternoon. Our stay at Brennan's B&B was highly recommended - welcome, comfort and breakfast were top notch. Dinner at the Highland Hotel was excellent. The Brian Friel festival with its production of The Faith Healer was simply first class - very moving, so memorable and one of the most special events that we have ever attended. Thank you to Bally Beg/ Baile Beag(Glenties), for such a wonderful trip!
The hotel was excellent. Glenties is a perfect spot with so much to see in the local area and it's also located within one hour of the rest of the spots on the Wild Atlantic Way. The Food, Rooms, WiFi, and Staff were all great. Would go back any time. Even at this difficult time, they have adapted how they work to maintain a really high standard. Couldn't recommend it more highly.
The Cottage was very comfortable, we were met by one of the owners who explained everything and gave us very good advice on local routes and sights. It was a great location from which to explore and we had a lovely dinner in Highlands Hitel in Glenties. We explored Mt Errigal, Glenveagh National Park, Sliabh Liag, Glencolmkille and Lough Eske. Highly recommend it.
Mary's home is a beautiful haven in a magnificent setting. Could happily have stayed much longer. Felt like we'd known Mary forever, such a wonderfully welcoming host. Her home is full of interesting and quirky things - so much more inspiring than insipid chain hotels. If you have the chance to visit, I would strongly recommend this spot.
Lovely b&B with a "home" feeling. Very pleasant and friendly family. Full Irish and continental breakfast served. Glenties seemed to be very quiet area and if you're looking for somewhere near to eat i would suggest The Highlands hotel. We were able to get in without reservation but were asked to present Covid Cert.
Delicious breakfast, comfortable room and accommodation! We had dinner in town minutes away and then visited the quaint town of Ardara in the evening to pop into a pub. Just 15 minutes by car. Mary and her husband were warm and so wonderful!
Great location in Glenties. Lovely walking area right at your door. Looking forward to returning there as soon as possible. Most relaxing holiday in years.
