Nearby Muza restaurant - higly recommended.

Located in the Kana`im Valley, Kfar Hanokdim is set in a Bedouin-style encampment village surrounded by palm trees. What a cool place! We had a super time at this unique desert camp with tons of activities in a laid-back feel. Definitely recommend Our cottage was immaculate, modern, and comfortable. We were kindly welcomed by Nori who had our rooms pre-warmed, and our itineraries hand written. All six of us were able to take hot showers before dinner and evening activities commenced (a bonus after a day at the near-by Dead Sea). The food at dinner was plentiful and delicious. Breakfast was equally as good. The dining tents were lovely and heated. There are options to sit at a regular table with chairs, or at low tables with floor benches. We tried both. (Only one unobtrusive cat noticed from a distance) The Bedouin hospitality tent was an appreciated glimpse into the culture and tradition of this nomadic tribal life. We highly recommend the optional, guide-led, UV light, scorpion hunting. It was a blast! We actually found 3 scorpions even though it was a chilly night! Roasting marshmallows around a bonfire next to our rooms was a nice way to wind down the day. The camel rides were fine, and just long enough! (Optional safety helmets were available if you wanted one.) They have a really lovely boutique with all kinds of artsy clothing, gifts, and souvenirs. Sadly, the second day they did not open in time for us to make hoped-for purchases. So, we recommend you shop at night.

Set in Arad, 41 km from Yeroẖam, Or Gani offers a garden and free WiFi. cosey, intimate, artistic atmosphere. the most lovely place to be
A small town with a great connection to Jerusalem and Mesada. Even on Sabbath you find a nice bar and Supermarkets open in walking distance from our accomodation. Its great for a short stay to visit Mesada (we went to west-side entrance) and to take a day trip to Dead Sea. From Arad you can either go back north or continue to south.. however, after two nights you find that Arad itself doesnt offer much more to discover..
Arad is 30 minutes from the DEAD SEA Beach and a lot of Israeli national hiking routes. (Massada, Nahal Arugot, NAhal of King David) . The prices at Arad about 1/4 of the DEAD SEA area. So just rent a car. :)
newly renovated - super clean - well equipped - amazing jacuzzi - most welcoming We had a lovely stay at Bashiri's place! Very friendly and hospitable host who made us feel most welcome immediately. Do rely on the pizza recommendation :) Enjoyed the jacuzzi at night after a long tour in the desert - most delightful! We will come back & stay for longer!!
Clean very pleasant town. Balanced, not too busy but not too quiet. Plenty shops, malls eateries etc. Absolutely beautiful walks and viewpoints basically in the town. Would very highly recommend for a young family looking to hike a bit and chill.
I would love to come back at a different time of year. Masada is close by and is not to be missed. It was completely different from what any of us expected. Arad is also a quirky, fun town. The artist market was mostly closed but the few studios that were open were quite fun to visit. Make reservations at places you want to eat - there aren't too many and during busy times, you may not be able to get in. It's not far from the Dead Sea, Ein Gedi, the Negev and Judean deserts - I could have explored so much more.
Arad as a town has not too much to offer. However, Arad is a great starting point for touring nature and antiquities. In less than half an hour you get to Tel Arad, a reconstructed archeological site of importance, as is Krayot, one of the putative places that Judah Iskaryotes is supposed to hail from. Har Amassah, a long ridge with typical northern flora and fauna is just next door. A beautiful drive down to the Dead Sea is also an attractive option
The cleanest place! We couldn’t believe we are in Israel. Very cozy place, nice and comfortable. You‘ll find everything you want. Big yard with all the facilities for BBQ. Very quiet place, the beds are comfortable. And the owners are the nicest people ever. High level hospitality. And thank you so much for your flowers. We were happy to stay and definitely will be back. Highly recommended.

The location is on a nice side street in Arad - close to everything, but far enough away to provide beautiful views of the desert. The room itself is a little tight space-wise, but the porch more than makes up for it. It is definitely a romantic spot and we spent our evenings on the swing looking out at the desert and in the mornings we had breakfast. We definitely hope to stay there again.
Location is wonderful, the views are breathtaking. The outside spaces (balcony and garden) are such paradises. Apartment is large in size, modern, luxurious, well kept and well equipped. We had breakfast and dinner, the food was amazing. Delicious, huge portions, large variety and mostly very tasty. Overall, a superb experience. Zhanna and her husband went above and beyond to host us.
The hotel is in a good location, 30 mins from dead sea and close to closed-due-corona restaurants. The staff was helpful and welcoming with their attitude although one staff member was rude. Room was large and the view was towards green gardens and a mountains landscape (See photo) - very nice. Parking was near the hotel and free on weekends, per municipal laws.
Great location near Ein Bokek, Ein Gedi, Masada and Negev Dessert. Super friendly hosts. Very clean and good facilities including washing machine and dryer. Parking facilities, good wifi, nice garden and probably many more good points. If you're looking for a hotel / appartment near the points I mentioned above, look no further.
The super-friendly staff. the comfort of the room, the awesome shower and outdoor hot-tub. This is a great spot to either park for the night and recharge while on a trip, or to chill and spend time with a desert view and its calmness, good people and 0 stress. Arad as a town will have everything you need, too.

Comfortable room with kitchen facilities (including coffee), bathroom, sofa, artistic wall hangings etc.. Owner gave good advice on restaurant (Muza) and nearest minimarket. Also some nice bakeries in Arad.

Rachel is a very caring host and cooked a soup for us on arrival. The apartment is located in a very quiet neighbourhood. It is a approx. 30 min walk to the center of Arad.
Incredibly peaceful desert location a few miles outside Arad - a great base for driving down to the Dead Sea or to the west side of Masada. Excellent food too!

Eyal's house is beautiful and well managed. It has all the facilities needed, the rooms are spacious, everything in the house is well-decorated and designed. The balcony and garden are also very comfort and well kept. It's perfect for a family or 4-5 friends. The communication with Eyal was quick and he was very helpful with all the information we asked. We were a group of four friends who spent only one night in the house. It felt too short. I highly recommend this house for travellers. I will be back with my family.
