Excellent stay! We were the only guests due to the bad climate. The entire house was ours providing privacy and a cozy, big room. The river view was amazing, though the bad weather limited outdoor enjoyment. The homely food from the ladies' kitchen was yummy and added to the comfort. A kettle with coffee/tea sachets was a nice touch, making our stay more pleasant. Despite the rain, it seemed like the place had a lot to offer! We will be back after the rains to enjoy the river.

The staff were absolutely incredible and could not have done more to make us feel welcome. They were also extremely knowledgeable about the local area and keen to share this with us. The nature walk was enjoyable and informative and we would really recommend our excellent guide provided by the hotel. Finally when we left we were treated to an added benefit of a close up encounter with an elephant. We really could not have asked for me.

Exceptional location. You can truly cut off and relax. Beautiful riverfront property. Pool is great. Some wildlife activities are available as well, but great joy here is in doing nothing and just chilling, reading, swimming and eating delicious food!

This is a place in the wilderness and you will like it if you like being out in nature. We had a campfire and sat by the lake, and went trekking (guided ) during the day. It’s not safe to go out into the jungle on foot at night so something to bear in mind. The room was large and comfortable with a good bathroom. The grounds are nice and very lush. The host was very kind and considerate.

Offering a barbecue and views of the mountain, Hornbill Camp is located in Thattakād. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Certain units have a seating area to relax in after a busy day.

The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Mr. Sundeep was a great help during my stay with organising several trips. Biking and coffee/tea/ water are all for free. Food is very nice and tasty. Also a big thank you to Mr Vishnu and Mr Varghese for making my time there a great memory.
