If you plan a trip to Kashmir do include a trip of 2-3 days...
If you plan a trip to Kashmir do include a trip of 2-3 days to Pahalgam. On the way to Pahalgam, you will come across saffron fields in the season. Once there, the major attractions in the trip are Amarnath base camp Chandanwadi, Aru valley, Betaab valley and nearby Baisaran valley. No items are specially produced there; it is for the abundance of mountain scenic views. Other things are the pony ride and market for jackets, bags, saree, suits and other women dresses. Must bargain prices though.

It's like a heaven.
It's like a heaven. The three valleys makes it unique and beautiful and people are really nice and always a helping hand for tourists. There are things you must try like Horse riding, Mini-switzerland, zip lining, and many local places to see.

Everything about this hotel was not right, On booking.com it was mentioned pay at the time of stay but they called me on my mobile after my booking and told me to pay a deposit fee to confirm and then when we reached there the owner/manager was waiting just for our balance payment at the time of checking in , he was very nice and after checking our ID's immediately he asked for the balance payment and after we paid he was not be seen anywhere again , the rooms were very dirty , service was poor, towels we dirty and dirty smell was coming from the towels, bedsheets were dirty , windows were dirty, bathroom was dirty, it looked shady place. it was the worst experience and all my friends and their families who came with me were not at all happy and somehow we wanted to get away from there

Lidder View Resort we stayed in was a cheat and unethical.
Lidder View Resort we stayed in was a cheat and unethical. Peeked in to see my Booking.Com PIN and submitted hotel review in my name. He fools customers to get their PIN and then themselves submit false reviews: don't trust those 9-10 points reviews.
Hotel is located 14km short of Pehalgam and is not where the map on Booking.com shows it to be.
Hotel haggled for additional money over and above reflected in Booking.com confirmation.
Rooms are dingy and without ventilation. No view from rooms.
Avoid Lidder View Resort...too overpriced too.

Loved it.
Loved it. I am not satisfied with just one visit, I will have to go again. Pahalgam is a place where you can never say that you are satisfied, you will keep coming again and again until you die❤️❤️❤️❤️
You will never get enough of Pahalgam, you will always be missing it.

Pahalgam is beautiful.
Pahalgam is beautiful. Like most of kashmir, its about the views. Book a good hotel and enjoy the leisurely pace. We all felt 3 days is good for this place.
Also don't miss abc valley accessible by taxi (rates are fixed by taxi union). Aru valley and Chandanwari are worth it in april. Betaab valley is lovely, its free to see from top when you go to chandanwari. If you have time you can go down to the valley.
**Take some food if you have a special diet. ABC valley takes more than half day. they are quite close to each other.
Not much available in the valleys except maggie/ bhel/ packet chips.
we skipped baisaran valley as its only accessible by horse and the route is very rough for older people, slippery in rain and lots of horse poop. but I've heard the views are amazing.

location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of the hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future

My stay at the hotel was truly enjoyable. The property is well-maintained with excellent hygiene standards. The staff demonstrated professionalism and provided prompt service throughout.
