The location was fantastic! Remote with beautiful views and plenty of lovely walks on your door step. The place felt secluded and very cosy. It was really comfortable and well equipped. Communication with the host was really easy. Daniel was very attentive and we felt very welcome. I would highly recommend.

The cottage was nice and clean. It is very convenient that you can check in on your own so late check in is not a problem. There is a nice restaurant nearby (Stapinn) and their soup was delicious, especially after such a long day.

I had aproblem with my car at Hellnar, both of my car tyres went flat. The staff of foss hotel Hellnar helped me a lot. Very curtsious and helpful staff.

An absolutely unforgettable stay. The views over the sea are simply breathtaking, and the incredible peace and tranquillity of the place make it feel truly special. You can immediately see how much care and attention has been put into every detail of the accommodation, and the owner’s hospitality and attention to detail are exceptional. This is definitely a place where you should stay for more than just one night. The accommodation itself is so comfortable, and there is so much to enjoy in the surrounding area that it deserves to be experienced without rushing. We were incredibly lucky to have a perfectly clear night during our stay and, to our amazement, we got to see the Northern Lights right above us. It was a magical experience and a night we will never forget. We couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful, beautiful and special place to stay. Highly recommended — we would absolutely love to come back!

The place was fantastic I highly recommand. Between ocean and glacier. The village is super cute.
