Lorenzo was an absolute champion. Great property great host and oh boy, what a views all around. One of most magical places in Iceland. Didn't really used big bathtub but I was lucky enough to use sauna and it was great. Would really recommend beer spa 5 min drive from Lorenzos house, it was fantastic. Overall one of top places in Iceland.

Lovely big room with nice shower room. View over rooftops to the harbour and sea. Selfcatering kitchen was a commercial style facilities so a little of a challenge to use.

Everything was fantastic. The wiew was as stunning as could be, the room was quiet and comfy beds. Extra blankets, pillows, hairdryer etc was easy accessible. Easy check- in with codes, wich was sent in advance. Lots of public spaces and the public kitchen was extremely well equipped, a former restaurant kitchen. Free coffee, tea, hot chocolate in the dining room. Met the host/staff in the morning and they were very friendly and welcoming. I wish more accomodation with self-maintenance in Iceland were like this.

Everything was great. Ingolfúr and his family are wonderful hosts - it all felt like home. Breakfast was very rich, with home-baked cakes, local specialities... - we will be back !!

It was the best and most welcoming house we have been in Iceland. We really felt at home. The furniture and design of the house are really nice, the house was clean and the kitchen had everything needed to prepare our dinner, even some Food and services to share for all guests (not to be given for granted). You can litterally cook and relax on the sofa, watching the ocean from the windows... big garden to enjoy the sun. Perfect and easy check in with instructions.

The cabin was inside the wood with quiet and tranquil environment. It was homely decorated with sufficient cooking facilities. We loved the hot tub outside. The garden was also very nice. The host responded quickly to offer help when we had problem to operate the stovetop..
