Turku excellent location in terms of getting further away from Reykjavik. Self-service concept worked really well and the free parking was a nice addition. Variety at breakfast was good and we liked the fact that breakfast was available eventhough this was a self-service hotel. Room was clean and colors nice (usually we do not care about the colors at all, but the room was really balanced on terms of colors). There was enough space in the room for a family to function. We spent three nights there and liked the fact that we could choose not to have room cleaning during the days.

The hotel was perfectly located in the centre of Reykjavik and only a short walk from bus stop 9. The front desk staff were friendly and courteous. The room was compact and clean. Bars and restaurants are close by, as is a supermarket - open till 8pm. It suited our purpose very well as we had an early morning flight.

Downtown Reykjavik is full of life, joy and culture, so it can be noisy at night. We recommend enjoying the live music at the bar downstairs, which will stop at 11 in the night.
