We recently stayed at Sleeping with Horses during our journey along the south coast of Iceland. This location was great. We had the Kria unit, which was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed and more. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure. One of the highlights was enjoying my morning coffee taking pictures of the horses right outside our unit. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Sleeping with Horses, to anyone traveling through the area.

We liked the remoteness of the location and the overall feel of the guesthouse. We were in the main building and had a nice view of a family of Icelandic horses.

This is actually a nice farm which has a guest house. Really, really spacious apartment. Big bedroom, good size dining room and kitchen, big bathroom and a big hallway with space to leave your luggage. Free parking at the facility. Very pleasant and peaceful surroundings. Pet friendly - a cute dog met us upon arrival. Lots of horses and cows around. Very nice.

The hotel was fresh and contemporary- very comfortable and efficient. The staff were all friendly and helpful. great bar- with a real bartender. Dinner in the restaurant was fantastic and the server was a pro, and knowledgeable about the island and gave recommendations for next day activities.
