This was a great place to stay in the westfjords! The common room has everything you need in order to prepare your dinner/breakfast. The place itself was clean and comfortable. The location is beautiful and its not too far away(within walking distance) from a hotspring which is great to relax after a day of exploring!

Very spacious, beautiful place, even you have other houses nearby, but once you step in Aegisholt you have a feeling you are there on your own. You have private hot tub, which was a very nice touch after a long day. Garden space and large terrace. Car next to your door. Easy self check-in/check-out. Very comfortable beds. Rognvaldur was extremely nice and easy going. He came by to greet us and best of all to let us know when the auroras were out. The apartment was AMAZING! It had all the basic necessities and was perfect if you do not plan on cooking an elaborated meal. We loved that there was a hot pot right across the street. The apartment was easy to find and while far away from everything it was also close to where you need to get to. The bathroom was great and everything was clean and newly looking. Linens and towels were fresh. Beds were comfortable. Huge windows to look outside.

Location next to Hot Spring, checking was fast (even though the restaurant was busy), room was spacious. Bed was amazing as well as pillows. There is a gas station next to it. It could have not been better.

Wonderful historical house next to a church. We were the only guests, so it was a pretty unique experience having the whole house for ourselves. Very cosy atmosphere and very clean. Downstairs is a café and a museum, where the breakfast was served. Very delicious continental breakfast and very nice host. We enjoyed our stay.

This was the best guesthouse during my stay in Iceland, well located with wonderful views on the fjord from the windows of my room. Spottlessly clean, the staff was nice and the breakfast divine. Late check in was not an issue at all.
