It was lovely, close to the grocery store and ferry (we could have walked there from the ferry) it was like an older classy hotel. The decor in the rooms was light, airy and inspiring. If I was a writer I would love to stay here for a solo writing retreat. The breakfast was outstanding! An azing traditional icelandic breakfast. There was a shared fridge in the hall if you wanted to keep your perishables or ice in there. I was very impressed.

The kitchen was very nice, free coffee and tea, the stove worked well, the refrigerator was nice. The heated floor in the private bathroom was the best! The location was fantastic, very close to restaurants and grocery stores downtown, free parking. Easy to access the building and room with passcodes. Extra bathroom in the hall was nice. Pokémon GO players in the group appreciated the pokéstop reachable from the room.

The cottage was tiny but spotlessly clean and the small space was very well organised. The kitchenette had everything we needed to cook a simple meal. The location was quiet and lovely, a bit outside the town with a view over the ocean and even a couple of very friendly horses in a fence right outside our door. I would love to stay at Ofanleiti again next time I visit Vestmannaeyjar.

Great luxury accommodation in a good location in Vestmannaeyjar. Very beautiful view by the sea. High-quality house and excellent and well selected all furnishings and equipment. Good quality beds and sheets. There is no reception on arrival or departure. You will be sent a key code. You just call if you need other services. Everything was acceptable

Nice room in a good-sized hotel in Heimaey. The location is close to the port with excellent access to the ferry port, restaurants and sights. The staff were helpful and the facilities included jacuzzi and sauna access. Breakfast was good with the usual hot and cold items. Would strongly recommend.

The ferry was cancelled due to weather and we had to find a last minute spot. Although it was pricey, this place worked out. In town, just across the street from the grocery store. Beds were good, room had kettle and coffee/tea. Over all good for the situation.

The location was excellent, a short walk from Elephant Rock in one direction and downtown Vestmannaeyjabær in the other. The proprietor went out of his way to make us feel welcome- we enjoyed a nice breakfast before boarding the morning ferry back to the mainland.

I loved everything about our place! The location was perfect -- right next to downtown, dinner at GOTT, and drinks at The Puffin Bar. It was the perfect spot for our first trip to Heimaey, my dream town.
