A really great place to stay if you have an early flight or late arrival in Keflavik. Very close to the airport about 5 mins taxi/car ride. Room is spacious and clean. Staff are also nice.

We stayed here the night before our early flight in the morning. It was the perfect location, and they provide a shuttle TO the airport (but not FROM the airport so keep that in mind). We enjoyed the hot pool on the 2nd floor (it's outdoors with an open slatted roof) then had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was superb. It was a little windy that night which woke us up at few times, but all in all it was a perfect stay :)

Vogar is obviously just a bedroom community for Reykjavik...

Vogar is obviously just a bedroom community for Reykjavik with little there except a hotel, a motel, and a single uninteresting restaurant. It is convenient to the airport, the Blue Lagoon, and an excellent lava tube attraction. It is also close to the recent volcano eruption should you want to see than. The volcano was sleeping when we visited. It is far out of the path of the lava flow so it is quite safe.

It was close to airport.

It was close to airport. Room was overpriced for the accommodation. Breakfast we had to pay for but wish we would have just stopped at a gas station instead. The guy wears a chef jacket but only thing that was cooked was boiled eggs. Price for breakfast was too costly for what you get.

The hotel is very near to the airport. It was very clean. The hot pot was great, but you have to pay for it (bath robe included).
