We traveled from Canada to vacation in Italy. Aliano was just one of the small villages we had on our itinerary. We enjoyed everything about this precious little place. The owners and family of this hotel went above and beyond our expectations. They were over the top kind, informative and they couldn’t do enough for you. We had the pleasure of having a meal in their family run restaurant which was exceptional. They started with a carafe of red wine then followed by dish after dish of authentic home cooked pleasures!!! It was a very inviting place to dine it felt like we were part of their family at their dinning room table. Our room had a balcony that over looked the Main Street which was filled with local families. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the air conditioner was great because it was 40 degrees outside. It was easy to get to, parking wasn’t too far away. We would certainly stay there again. The property is a former farm house that was nicely restored by Antonio and his family. The building is immersed in the "calanchi" and allows travelers to experience this fascinating landscape up close. Rooms are spacious and bathrooms are oversized. Breakfast is served in a very nice room, is abundant and includes home made baked goods. Antonio is a super host - very responsive and truly cares about delivering the best experience for his guests. Strategically located to visit Aliano, Tursi, Craco, Pisticci etc. Highly recommend.

This is the most wonderful place to stay in Aliano! You’re right in the heart of the village and yet, there are wonderful views across the Calanchis from the window and all amenities and the Carlo Levi memorial spaces within walking distance. Needless to say that everything is spotlessly clean and Nicola is a charming and helpful host. Thank you so much!

THE BREAKFAST WAS NOT EDIBLE , it was prepacek ,toast ,croissant, cartan of fruit juice , the house it self it was beautifull as i thought it would be , something out of a old flim , Google stated that where 4 restanurant local but on the sunday night when we stayed they where all closed We had to travel 20 min to the next town for food the host did no speak any English

Everything was wonderful! The location, the hosts, the room, the amenities, the cats… It’s an apartment that, despite the small space, has everything you could ask for and then some. It even has a small washing machine! What wasn’t there, was provided to us on the spot (because it’s small, the owners keep some amenities in storage, but upon request it’s provided for you). Check-In is easy. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. The garden and rooftop terrace have comfy furniture. The peace and quiet you experience at Terra d’Oriente is next level, we had an excellent time there and would recommend it to anyone!
