Nice promenade but seems to be the end of season already and we really struggled to find a place to eat, but found a good locals' haunt at the very far end of the town finally, it was Sunday too I suppose.

There are many hotels, there.
There are many hotels, there. If you are a history buff, or like UNSECO
sites, you would like it. There is not a lot of night life there. It is a
small city for relaxing and enjoying the beach. If you have small kids,
you might like the little trampoline park or you might like playing the
popular game of padle/pickle ball there. The train station is
small, but it can take you to many small interesting cities nearby
or big cities like Naples less than 2 hours away. Usually the temps
in July and August are in the low 90's, however we went when there
was a terrible heat wave! So, I can't report on the weather at this time.
We did ask people from there and former visitors; they said usually
the temp is very pleasant. We liked eating at our hotel or you can
walk into Ascea and there are restaurants facing the ocean. The
beach was very clean and pleasant to swim in. Chairs if you want
them for £20 a day. Local people are very pleasant. Easy to walk
around Ascea.

It is a great little town and a wonderful beach.
It is a great little town and a wonderful beach. Very affordable as I went at the end of the season. I did not require much from the staff but they were very accommodating when I did. The shuttle to the train station is great. They did not speak English and I did not speak Italian but all me needs were met regardless.

Everything here is perfect and feels like home. Villa Romilda's location is central and the beach is just one stone away from it. The owners are very friendly and helpful, plus the breakfast is uniquely good, as all the pastries and cakes are homemade everyday. Even the garden where the breakfast is eaten is elegant and pleasant to be in. The rooms are squeaky clean and the only noise you could hear in the morning is that of the birds outside. I'll definitely book here if I come back to Ascea again.

I loved staying in this place. The view was AMAZING and I was assisted the whole time. I needed help to reach the place from the station and I had lots of support.
The Historic Centre is a bit far from Marina but once you get there it’s a very peaceful place. Basic life, without the stress of the city. People was very welcoming and the simplicity was the best thing that I got from this little break I took from the city.

We got an upgrade to a room with balcony/terrace which was nice, the room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was very courteous and friendly. Private parking was a big plus for us since we travel with our own car. The hotel, the garden and the rooms are clean and well kept, the pool area and the hotel's own beach (both with a small bar) were great to cool down on a hot day. We absolutely loved it.

September was a quiet time to visit, but some restaurants were already closed for the season. Plenty of great food available including breakfast at hotel. Their bistro closed first week of September and their beach site was not operating, but they offered umbrellas and chaise if we wanted. You can walk to anything and there is a gas station across the street with play area for kiddos.

A lovely, clean, elegantly appointed room overlooking the main street of Ascea di Marina. Absolutely delicious breakfast. The manager, Annpaola, was gracious and helpful. Fantastico!
