The room was spotless. The staff were exceptionally friendly. It's very close to the beach, and there's also a pool. Breakfast was great, but more on the European side.

September was a quiet time to visit, but some restaurants were already closed for the season. Plenty of great food available including breakfast at hotel. Their bistro closed first week of September and their beach site was not operating, but they offered umbrellas and chaise if we wanted. You can walk to anything and there is a gas station across the street with play area for kiddos.

Hotel Venere is located in Ascea Marina centre, in the Cilento National Park. It offers free WiFi, a large garden and panoramic terrace.

Bathroom, air con etc were ok. Staff at breakfast very welcoming but reception just ok. Nice promenade but seems to be the end of season already and we really struggled to find a place to eat, but found a good locals' haunt at the very far end of the town finally, it was Sunday too I suppose.

Everything here is perfect and feels like home. Villa Romilda's location is central and the beach is just one stone away from it. The owners are very friendly and helpful, plus the breakfast is uniquely good, as all the pastries and cakes are homemade everyday. Even the garden where the breakfast is eaten is elegant and pleasant to be in. The rooms are squeaky clean and the only noise you could hear in the morning is that of the birds outside. I'll definitely book here if I come back to Ascea again.

Gorgeous secret garden with amazing views of the mountains and the sea. The room is very cosy and the owner made us feel completely at home. The pool, the comfortable beds, the modern bathrooms and showers. The air conditioning was excellent. Angelo, our host was beyond wonderful!
