Located in Bagnoregio and within 2.3 km of Civita di Bagnoregio, Hotel divino Amore features a bar, rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. At the hotel every room comes with a private bathroom.... The location and staff were great. Free parking near the hotel is a good bonus.
Locanda Della Buona Ventura is located in Bagnoregio, 15 km from Lake Bolsena and a 30-minute drive from Orvieto. It features views of Calanchi Valley. Great location, the owner Laila is a delightful person, attentive to customer needs, always available from the moment of booking. She also allowed us to stay in our room beyond the check out time due to the fact that it was raining really hard. Civita is is charming and romantic and anyway .. a unique place!
1.1 km from Civita di Bagnoregio, Il Palazzetto is situated in Bagnoregio and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The guest house has family rooms. Nice, clean, elegant and cozy accommodation, good position in the town, in the centre, perfect for visiting Civitá (on foot several minutes)
B&B La Polinnia is located in the historic centre of Bagnoregio. It offers free parking, free WiFi and a spacious garden with a children's playground. The room was absolutely beautiful. Very large and spacious, with a big comfy bed, TV, desk, and a seating area. The owners were really friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious. It is very well located, with Civita di Bagnoregio about a 10 minute walk away. Definitely a great base to explore that unique city.
Located in Bagnoregio, La Casetta Madonna di Morciano offers accommodation with a patio or a balcony, free WiFi and flat-screen TV, as well as a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a garden. Dante was very fast in replying our messages on the day we arrived and met us at the time (and location) that was easier for us, to then accompany us to the place. The little apartment is located down a road not too far from the entrance of the civita di Bagnoregio, a beautiful scenic old village situated on top of a hill, only to be reached by foot. The place in itself is gorgeous, surrounded by trees and nature, very private and cosy. As we visited in November, we did not get to enjoy the full potential of the apartment (and pool!) but I can only imagine how nice it would be in summer. The interior design of the apartment was also very nice. A comfy bed, a little table and chairs, and a bathroom with shower, toilet and gorgeous sink. I particularly appreciated the presence of a hairdryer, and of a little electrical stove we used to warm up the place before going to bed (again, visited in November!).
Set in Civita di Bagnoregio, this apartment features a terrace. The kitchen has a fridge and there is a private bathroom. Towels and bed linen are featured in this apartment. Fantastic! Renovated an old building on the cliff at the edge of Civita's old town with a great sense of architectural design. The old stone space with hundreds of years of history and the modern and sophisticated interior design are in harmony. It is clean and comfortable, with everything I need to stay day and night. Luxurious, calm interior space and breathtaking views from the clifftop terrace. There is an ancient cave under the terrace, and the view from the cave balcony is even more majestic.
Set in the historical centre of Bagnoregio, La Loggetta offers a shared kitchen and rustic-style rooms with a balcony. Is a pet-friendly place, and Fiorella was a very friendly person in explaining all the things, also the parking ticket is a plus for this place!
You better bring a camera. You and your friends will not believe the views and sites without proof. Read up on its history, founding and development to gain an understanding and appreciation for the significance of this place. Make sure you meet Franco, he's "the man".
We arrived early evening so it was really quiet. Don’t know how busy it would get during the day with tourists. The restaurants seem to close early (9.30) although we did find one open later and it was lovely. There is also an outside bar near a car park, which was full of locals, and was open late. We had a great night.
Love the old world charm with the convenience of modern amenities. Beautiful panoramic view of the valley below. Very peaceful once the tourists leave for the day. Parking can be an issue. The trip up the bridge is a challenge especially with luggage. All but one of the restaurants were booked or closed at dinner which is inconvenient in such a remote location. Definitely worth the stay!
Definitively worth a visit, absolutely enchanting and unique place... on weekends, it gets very busy though, try to experience it alone in silence by getting there on weekdays, before 9 or after 19:00.
We did not stay in the main town of Bagnoregio we stayed in the Civita which my review relates to. It is a very special place due to the views, the bars and restaurants, the isolation, and the atmosphere.
The best time to stay is on a week night as it is quieter & less tourists! Make sure there is a restaurant open for dinner as their opening times vary! Only take necessary luggage as big bags are cumbersome & difficult to manage if u want to walk along the footbridge! We had an amazing time!
We loved the decor of our private suite and felt very comfortable and cozy!! Our host Cristiana was very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were happy. Just being in Civita is amazing and you feel like you step back in time a thousand years, and our accommodations matched that feeling without sacrificing any comfort. We also loved our breakfasts in the lovely garden. This is definitely the place to stay if you plan to be in Civita di Bagnoregio, a few of the locals even agreed.
The pool was beautiful as was the location. Very spacious accommodation. Very helpful host. Would definitely use again.
