Wonderful apartment in a quiet neighbourhood. A great home base from which to explore the area. Very comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Thanks to the provided parking pass, we could easily park on the street by the building and/or in any of the blue spaces around town.

The best possible location, with a breathtaking view of the town of Civita. A beautiful, charming and spotlessly clean room, full of atmosphere and soul. The hosts are a wonderful family 💕— incredibly kind, warm-hearted people with real passion. In the room you can find organic cosmetics produced by their family business. They are extremely friendly and very helpful.🙏🏻 There is also the possibility to park quite cheaply almost right next to the town, 50 m from the accommodation. A very beautiful Italian mountain town. Hard to get to without a car. Buses do not run on Sundays. Taxis are also hard to come by and cost 50 euros each way from Orvieto. That's if you can find one to take you. It was challenging in that way but I'm glad I went!

The old town (Civita) is an amazing place. A living museum.

The old town (Civita) is an amazing place. A living museum. A bit difficult to access, especially in n a hot day, if you’re not young and fit. But it is worth the trouble. The village of Bagnoregio is a quaint place typical of Umbria with 2-3 nice restaurants and old cobbled streets.

Civita di Bagnoregio is unique and charming, but very small.

Civita di Bagnoregio is unique and charming, but very small. Staying a night is fun but there is not much to do so 2 nights was perhaps too much. Bagnoregio does have a nice church, it is not exceptional. Pack light as the walk involved some cheeky up and downhill walking.

A quiet and magical medieval town on top of a hill.

A quiet and magical medieval town on top of a hill. To reach the top of the hill, one has to walk around 1 km of a foot bridge. The view of the town and the view from the town are spectacular especially during sunset and sunrise. Towns folk are very friendly. Food is great although a little pricey. Try Cantina di Ariana. The waiter there was very nice. Their food was very good especially the hand-cut ham and the steak that is cooked in front of you by the fire place. Can’t wait to go back there.

Civita di Bagnoregio is definitely worth seeing.

Civita di Bagnoregio is definitely worth seeing. The city has about 12 inhabitants as it is crumbling off of the hillside. It is reachable by walking across a bridge that involves a fairly steep incline at the end. We didn't eat there, but there are many restaurants.

Civita did Bagnoregio is a must see and do when in Umbria /...

Civita did Bagnoregio is a must see and do when in Umbria / Tuscany area. It is fascinating. It is very much a day-trip tourist location, so staying the night within the Civita gives you a whole new perspective. It becomes very quiet, you feel like you have the town to yourself. A caution though, everything closes by about 7pm (19.00), including the restaurants.

A very lovely and cosy apartment that is clean, thoughtfully furnished and equipped with everything one could possibly need, including a well-stocked pantry for breakfast. Felt very much like home! Location was also fantastic, right in the historic city centre of Bagnoregio and a stone's throw away from the Civita. Other attractions like Celleno and Orvietto are also a short drive away. Compared to other accommodations in the area, this apartment was truly great value for money. We really enjoyed our stay!

This is an experience, not just a hotel stay! The view from the terrace was breathtaking! We’ve stayed at a few mountain-top villages and this was the most spectacular view we’ve ever had. The apartment was a cave, with its own cellar - very unique. The room was spacious, with a kitchen and was classically and interestingly decorated. The lady who showed us to the room was very helpful and polite, as was the lady who we interacted with us towards the end of the stay.

Very nice accommodation not far from the old town of Bagnoregio. The accommodation was very well equipped and would definitely have been a good place to stay for several days. The hostess was very nice and accommodating. After I couldn't find my charging cable on arrival, she immediately helped me to organise one from friends. You could go to a very nice café for breakfast, which was a 2-minute walk away. Very nice stay!
