I recently had the pleasure of staying at Goloritzè Room and Breakfast in Baunei, and it was truly a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with such warmth and kindness by Monica, the owner, and her team. They made me feel right at home, offering help with anything I needed and always ensuring that everything was perfect during my stay. The room was cozy and beautifully maintained, reflecting the charm of the local area. What truly stood out for me, though, was the homemade breakfast. Every morning, I looked forward to their delicious selection of fresh, local ingredients. One of the highlights was the goat cheese on toast with honey – such a simple yet extraordinary treat that captured the essence of the region's flavors. Baunei itself is a hidden gem, with stunning landscapes and hiking opportunities, especially if you love nature and adventure. Whether exploring the nearby Cala Goloritzè or just taking in the breathtaking views, the experience was unforgettable. The room is absolutely beautiful, the view is like no other and it was breathtaking every time we would wake up to it. It’s a very cute room and the host even allowed us to keep the AC on whilst we went out to eat in order to find a cool room as we experienced a heat wave when we had went. The location Via Roma left us speechless. The building and all the interior are more than charming. Every detail is well planned, the dining room is just gorgeous, the room was clean and comfortable, we even get a little surprise for our kids in it for spending their time there, which makes the two of us also for rest a bit. The hosts, Lara and Paola with their kindness and helpfulness, make staying there even more pleasant 😊 we spent there just one night and we were very sorry that we didn't come for more. If we will ever come back to Sardinia, that will definitely be the location in our staying list. 😊 Absolutely recommend it.

The room was nice and clean. Our host was helpful and prompt. The bed is very comfortable. There is a rooftop terrace with tables and chairs, which has an amazing view. We also had our own parking spot included. The road to get there by car might be a bit intimidating at first, but you easily get used to it. The friendly cats on the street are a nice bonus.

Is a small place just above the sea, 16 minutes by car to the harbour. Beautiful view to the valey and to the sea, not crowded, not very touristy. We loved it. If you want to visit Baunei coast I think is closer if you take a boat from Cala Gonone.

Baunei was a beautiful town which exceeded expectations.

Baunei was a beautiful town which exceeded expectations. It is brilliantly located 15/20 mins away from stunning rocky or sandy beaches. There are 2 little supermarkets which do a roaring trade and some lovely restaurants as well as a very popular gelateria which is open until 11ish! Away from the coast the road beyond Baunei winds through some amazing and dramatic scenery.

Baunei is a beautiful historical village built on the side...

Baunei is a beautiful historical village built on the side of a mountain. The views are amazing. Great restaurants and gelato. Fun place to visit for a few nights. We also visited Cala Goloritze while staying in Baunei. A beautiful hike to paradise. The hike out is difficult during the hot temperatures.

We loved Baunei.

We loved Baunei. Especially the village itself up in the mountains. Close knit community. Friendly locals and gorgeous mountain views. We had expected to be in closer proximity to the Coastline. But Baunei is a hill top village.

This small village is just recently explored by tourists, there are good restaurants and bars, beautiful panorama. Houses partly rebuilt and partly in bad, abandoned conditions. It is a perfect place for visiting Supramonte and its beaches.

The rooms are very tastefully done, modern, clean and very comfortable but a bit too much furniture taking up floor space in our room. Beds and pillows were comfy and breakfast on the balcony was a lovely treat. Baunei is a quaint town with unexpected yummy local foods. In particular there is a little eatery close by with "real Sardinian cuisine" so good. The host Paola and her parents are extremely helpful and hospitable. The breakfast was incredible and the treats mum makes are divine.

beautiful and brand new small hotel with only three rooms. very nicely decorated and it has beautiful finishes in the newly renovated building. walking distance from the main road of Baunei. the rooftop terrace is lovely. we enjoyed our stay here a lot!
