Quiet, simple, beautiful location. Bring groceries. WiFi iffy but sometimes okay. Great place to unplug, explore an old hilltop town, hiking nearby - all the way to cinque terra (3hrs) - also a van will take you and drop you off early morning and pick you up evening time for fee. La Spezia about 20mins away - can park car at train station there and train in to cinque terra - or take ferry from there. Slow down - relax - enjoy! Stayed in 3 bedroom annex ground floor short walk from parking - spacious, everything needed to cook, place was clean. Hotel has other options.

Breakfast was excellent, a good variety of food. Room was comfortable with excellent bathroom facilities. Location was ideal, quiet, ample and excellent parking facility. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful in all respect.

Simple but very comfortable hotel, the location is excellent, right in front of the train station, the staff was very friendly and it was a super plus that they stored my luggage on Sunday even after I checked out, which made it easier for me to visit Cinque Terre for the day.

We loved staying at this hotel! We arrived by train from Rome and it was such a comfort knowing that our room was just down the stairs across the street from the train station! Not only is the room right by the train station, but in 5 minutes down the street to the left is the beginning of the pedestrian main street! We could not believe the location of this place! Plus there was a bakery and grocery store right nearby. We stayed four nights and loved every one of them. The room had everything we need. The fan was great too. We are used to sleeping with a fan at home, so this was perfect. We usually stay in apartments, so a hotel was such a nice change on our trip. It was so nice to come back to the hotel after a long day of hiking the Cinque Terre to a clean room with beds that had been made and a fresh bar of soap and shampoo on our bed. The staff is sooooo friendly and warmly welcomes you with smiles and joy. A wonderful family runs this hotel. We spoke a lot especially with the daughter who speaks practically like a native English speaker. She gave us tips on where to eat and just was so warm and friendly everytime we saw her. Thank you Hotel Aurora for the wonderful experience. We would stay again!

Everything was perfect: friendly staff, confortable and clean room, next the train station. The restaurant and bar really amazing!

Hotel near the railway station and about 3 minutes to main road into old town for restaurants, and harbour. Breakfast very good: fruit juice, sweet croissant, yoghurt, chocolate tart (local speciality), delightful cappuccino (more coffee choices), jams and honey. Bedroom good size, and although on the backyard of railway station, no noise. Good sized bedroom and bathroom. Drinks machines on groundfloor (but need coins). Lift. Check out earlier than usual, 10:30 am. Recommend!

The staff! So friendly, welcoming and helpful. Very clean and very comfortable hotel and room. Nicely decorated. Ideal location: so near the railway station but amazingly quiet. Also it felt very safe. Last but not least, nice breakfast included.
