Our stay at Lispusada Agriturismo was one of our most enjoyable during our time in Italy. The old, original hilltop property has been lovingly and sensitively restored and extended without unnecessary modernisation whilst providing everything required for quiet rest and relaxation. A pair of beautiful rooftop terraces overlook the surrounding countryside and idyllic swimming pool area, while the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Our bed was the best we had during our time in Sardegna—just had to mention this as my husband had something negative to say about every other bed we encountered—and the breakfast spread was just perfect. The living area of the main property is made available for guest use, and we spent a tranquil evening there reading books on the sofa as the only guests that night (during low season). The real superlative goes to our host, Federico, who was helpful, kind, attentive, and seemed to oversee everything single handedly, including preparation of a wonderful breakfast each morning that included various salumi, cheese, mixed croissants, housemade fruit tarts and mini bruschetta, as well as yoghurts and fruit. His restaurant advice was excellent, as were his recommendations about local sightseeing options—we particularly enjoyed our day trip to the nearby island of Asinara. Lispusada Agriturismo was our final stay during a special holiday to mark our 20th anniversary—we would certainly recommend it for those seeking a somewhat remote, quiet destination, with enjoyable sights, amenities and restaurants within reasonable drives. The property can be reached from Olbia airport in about 1 hour 20 minutes, while Alghero is probably half that, so getting in and out with a rental car is easy.

The town is the most unique place I’ve stayed yet. It’s a deserted mining town that froze in time. If you enjoy your own company and want to spend time without any civilisation this place could be just it! Beautiful waters even on the windy days make up for lack of sun beds and umbrellas. Be prepared to drive in search of food and shops. Magical place with spectacular views. Thank you Tamara for looking after us!

This was a good choice! The house is attractive, clean, well kept, it has a nice garden and it is well located. Not far from Alghero or from the airport- 20 min only, from beautiful beaches and there are good traditional restaurants in the area. However, we spent a great time in this place!

Very well equipped villa, with a very nice and curated garden. A good base from where to explore north of Sardinia.

Beautiful house away from the busy areas. You definitely need a car but overall the location is convenient - only 10-15 min drive from Stintino and nearby beaches. Our host was very welcoming and even though she only spoke Italian, we had good communication. Breakfast was also great.

In a quite area near La Pelosa, nobody around.
