Can fully recommend. We loved the spa with its pool, outside hot water whirlpool, and several saunas. It was really convenient and a pleasurable experience. The staff is very friendly and professional, can help with just any request (e.g. printing something), and are available on WhatsApp. Our room was always made while we had beakfast, so zero interruptions. It was my birthday during the stay, and they were able to prepare a wonderful chocolate cake. Also I received a small gift from the hotel, which was so nice from them. Overall, this hotel is a destination we will gladly visit again! They have three 11 kW EV chargers, two of them in a garage. WiFi works without any issues. Breakfast offering was very wide and high quality. Good coffee, made according to your wish. Offer even lactose-free milk! You can also order extras outside the buffet breakfast. For dinner the hotel has a good balance of international and local dishes, all tasted great and were nicely presented. The wine selection is very good as well, offering mostly local and other Italian wines.

Location is just the best in town, right by the ski lift that takes you to 2000m. Staff is very very friendly (hi, Francesca!😊). The facilities are new, everything is clean. Breakfast offers a pretty wide range of options.

Perfect place have a blast on bike after the rush has gone and also on morning before to busy. Good bar decent food. Staff are friendly. It’s basic it’s clean it’s what you pay for. Old school good school.

Location, rooms, restaurant and views

Everything was fantastic. Michele couldn't do enough for us and Alfredo was helpful interesting and even came and played golf with me. Breakfast was great and our room (Junior suite) was so roomy and modern and a great place to stay 8 days. The views were beautiful.

The hotel’s location, right in the heart of Bormio, is simply perfect — everything is just a few steps away, yet the atmosphere inside is peaceful and refined. The rooms took our breath away — spacious, beautifully designed, and filled with light, they felt like a luxurious retreat after each day of exploring. Every detail has been carefully thought out, creating a sense of harmony and comfort that made us feel instantly at home. And the breakfast… absolutely divine. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care — a true celebration of Italian hospitality. Hotel San Lorenzo gave us more than just a stay — it gave us memories we’ll cherish forever. We can’t wait to return to this little gem in Bormio.

Fantastic location and very clean rooms

Such an amazing stay at the hotel. The staff were very friendly, helpful and flexible with anything we needed. Breakfast was served in our rooms which was an exciting surprise, we used the spa most days which was a great way to finish off a day of skiing. The hotel also offered a free private shuttle to take us to and from the nearest lifts.

I booked for one night whilst touring the area, but ended up wishing I could stay longer. This is a delightful owner-run hotel, with courteous and friendly service. My room had a balcony with a mountain view. The bed was extremely comfortable. Unusually for a small hotel, there was an elevator, which I appreciated, as my room was on the third floor. The choice of breakfast was excellent. The main street is just outside the front door, with a wide array of restaurants and delightful architecture. The owner even allowed me to park my motorcycle in the small car park. I recommend this place as a base for touring the region.

Fantastic and very helpful staff very comfortable rooms, proximity to Bormio therms (the hotel provides 20% discount for thermes, by the way). It was a pleasure to spend holidays there!
