Located in different locations in Burano, 5 mi from Venice, Casa Burano features local designer furnishings, air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi throughout the property. Burano was magical! We loved the quaint little shops, friendliness of the locals and discovering all the gems hidden around the area of brightly painted shops & homes. Casa Burano is modern, clean and environmentally aware as far as electric consumption and linens are concerned. Breakfast covers just what you need and sets you up for the day. Thank you Susanna for our warm welcome at the ferry!! For information sake, the ferries needed to arrive in Burano are from 2 separate companies, you can’t buy all the tickets from the same provider. I bought a bus & ferry pass which wasn’t sufficient and would have had us lug the bags to the bus stop. You need: Alilaguna from airport to Fondamente Nova stop where you get off and wait for line 12 (which you buy from ACTV-buy a pass so you can hop islands on the day after your arrival). Thank you Casa Burano for hosting us in this gorgeous Pearl in the lagoon!
Offering rooms on Mazzorbo and Burano Islands in the northern Venetian Lagoon, renovated Venissa is surrounded by its orchard and vineyards. Everything at Venissa was thought out and wonderful. Our bed was super comfortable, the room temperature was great and the room itself was very clean, and the breakfast was delicious. We also appreciated staying away from the crowds in Venice, but still being able to reach it. It is only a short vaporetto ride away. The island of Mazzorbo is beautiful too - we had a couple of nice walks through Venissa’s vinyards, and you can reach Burano on foot from Venissa. The staff was really friendly and they would go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Located in Venice, 15 miles from Piazza San Marco and 15 miles from St.
Located in Venice in the Veneto region, Ca' Torcello has a balcony. Including a garden, this bed and breakfast also features a restaurant. Signora Lena is wonderful. Very clean and quiet place to sleep.
Locanda Cipriani is set by one of the canals in the peaceful Torcello. Offering rooms with free Wi-Fi, the property features a restaurant serving Venetian cuisine and is surrounded by a wide garden. Understated refinement for people who still know what that means.
Antica Dogana is set right in front of the lagoon of Venice, only 40 minutes by boat from the historic center, offering stunning views of the sunset and the Venetian islands. excellent stunning settting and nice atmosphere
Burano is amazingly beautiful, but off the beaten path. You need to take a water bus for 45-90 minutes every time you want to get there, and once there, to go anywhere else in Venice. Tourists arrive during the day in droves, and then leave in the evening, at which point the town is peaceful and lovely. Expect to take care of anything like SIM cards or other arrangements in Venice; services are limited. If you can't live without everything at your fingertips, you'll get along better in Venice proper. If you want to get away from the chaos, it's a little paradise.
