A wonderful little apartment, run by a gracious host. Extremely clean, with a full kitchen. Everything I needed. The accommodation is quite far out of town but the owners will collect you. There is no supermarket or restaurant nearby so if you are on foot you might want to buy food beforehand.

We stayed in Chatillon for ease of access to Cervinia for skiing over the New Year. a couple of great restaurants and bars, cute and quaint town. Friendly people, petrol stations, and supermarkets on door step. 40 minute drive to Cervinia centre. Even closer to valtourneche ski station. Easy route upo and down the mountain.

Only stayed one night then continued to Cervinia. Great location to explore Aosta valley and great base for skiing trips. Not much to do in winter but plenty of hikes in summer, The place is surrounded by mountains!

Chatillon is next to Saint-Vincent, which is a pleasant village with good restaurants and a very nice SPA. The location is quite central to the Aosta Valley, so you are about between 30 to 60 minutes away from most interesting hiking spots. The Aosta Valley has also plenty of beautiful castles that are definitely worth visiting.

The restaurants disappointed us because at times we found them closed. Bistroquet, Atmosphere and Summer were the ones we found open. Bistroquet was the best for what we wanted, being close to the hotel. opens at 19.00 and above all good food and friendly staff.

Flew to Malpensa and set off to ski in Cervinia with a hire car. As Cervinia can be expensive and we were unsure of road conditions this town was a great place to stay en route. Clean and comfortable .

Chatillion is cosy small town from wich you can get in 25 minutes to different ski-resorts. In front of the house where we rented apartment there is Carefour supermarket, in 10 meters distance bakery with big choice of sweets.

Châtillon is the center of the Aosta Valley, and these apartments are the best place to stay. When you stay at Mara's, you feel like you are at home. Everything you need is there, and all the household items are there as if you had put them there yourself. A fireplace, cozy furnishings and an amazing location. This is exactly the kind of place we will want to come back to again!

this is a very basic hotel at a cheap price right off the autostrada, perfect if you need to spend the night before/after a climb around Cervinia or in the valleys of Ayas or Gressoney. It is certainly not a holiday or romantic place to stay - but if you need basic comfort on your way for a night, this is the place. My second time here, precisely under these conditions

Beautiful location overlooking a castle. When we left the Lady drove us to the start of the Via Francigena between Chatillon and Verres which was greatly appreciated.
