This is a very nice, small hotel located below the hill of the old town. It takes about 15 minutes to walk uphill to the old city center. The hotel is quiet and well-equipped, and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was excellent.

Absolutely everything! We were served drinks upon arrival as we walked 17km (Via di Francesco). Room was the best we had on a 10 day trip, spacious, super clean with all bathroom amenities, lots of towels. Old school with exposed beams. Dinner was fantastic with picturesque views. Great breakfast with super attentive staff. There is NO room for improvement. We will hopefully return at some point.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Castello di Sarna. Andrea is a lovely and helpful host, and was always reachable for any questions we had. The house is located quite remotely on top of a hill and perfect for a quiet vacation getaway. The old and lovingly renovated interior preserves the feel of a century-old building while offering all necessary modern amenities. The place is surrounded by vineyards and there are a few great hiking tours close by.
